I had high expectations for the food after reading all the favorable reviews. We ordered 4 tacos for $16 that turned out to be nothing special. The carnitas were dry with very little flavor. The ground beef was just ok. I would have liked to order a little side of guacamole but the only option was as an appetizer for $10.99. Pass. The best thing was the free salsa - very tasty. Staff was very pleasant.

You go to Senior Taco for its authenticity and service. This is not a classy-looking romantic dining experience or hipster place, it's just good. Total dive, but the employees will take good care of you and you will leave satisfied and full.

Senior Taco has always been our top pick for Mexican food. We have been ordering from them for the last 3 years. We have never been disappointed. Flavor, portion size, and costumer service are always 5 stars! We are sad that we moved further away from their location but we still make the trip when we are craving their amazing Mexican.

Lunch was awesome I had a chorizo taco, the beef empanada and La Tri pork taco. The salsa and chips were very good ask for the hot sauces if you want to tune up the salsa.

One of my favorite Mexican places in FL. Reasonable prices for amazing dishes. Carnitas tacos are the bomb - crunchy and salty and seriously delicious. We've tried most of their tacos and some of their other items and nothing has ever failed yet.Servers are also warm and friendly and would gladly explain the menu.

I've been to señor taco twice, about 5 years ago was the first time. And I can say, what a difference from the first time I went. They'd made such an improvement in terms of flavor. The first time I went I would say they were decent, but now it's definitely one of the top ten taco places I've been to here in St. Petersburg. The only thing I would say they lack a little bit is in menu options, I feel they need just a little more. I was a little disappointed not to find tripe tacos and elote. Granted that's just me nitpicking, they have plenty of other things to try. And maybe I missed it. But everything else was great. My wife and I almost had 2 of each of their taco options, and none disappointed. I also want to give a long over do shout out to the staff, especially to our waitress, who was very attentive and kind to us. My wife even accidentally left her purse, and our waitress was kind enough to store in a safe place until we were able to come back and pick it up. Truly good ethical practice. Instantly recognized my wife and helped her out with it. They serve with a smile, food is amazing, and there is a nice clean ambiance. Deserves your attention if you haven't tried them out yet!
