“Second stop and had to do it as a an early lunch so we could work it in while in the area. I checked my last post and had almost the same thing again. Great menu. Had the Rueben again but this time had the clam chowder and a delicious chocolate malt. Great service and awesome food. Small town nostalgia is the decor, the theme and the way of life here. They call the locals by name and this place is a locals favorite. Highly recommended. Live music while we ate today.“
“The omelet was amazing. The potatoes cooked perfectly, And my waiter attended to me so well. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend you make a visit here if you looking for good diner food.Dietary restrictions: They have healthy egg white options. And veggie options.Parking: There's a parking lot on front and on one side. There is also street parallel parking where the shops are.“
“This is a nice Panera. The service is good, and l've always enjoyed the chain. But, I'm having trouble with Panera's price point. I paid almost $17 for a small bowl of soup, salad, and a glass of tea. I know prices are high these days, but these prices do not line up with other places I eat where I get A LOT more for my money. ? I may have to find a new lunch spot.“
“If Colton is working there when you arrive, ask him for suggestions. He definitely won't steer you wrong. I ate the chicken salad croissant, served with a bed a spring greens with blood orange vinagrette. OMG That dressing is flavorful and tasy. I dipped my croissant in it! WOW Taste bud explosion!! This is a no frills kind of place: no soda, tea, or anything like that. Just healthy and tasty food and smoothies. I will be back with friends.“
“Recently had to switch from "real"" coffee. I was happy to find that Cawfee serves great decaf! I love the eclectic atmosphere from crystal chandeliers to pinball machines. There is a menu with wide variety of coffee plus baked goods ? I highly recommend this place.“
“Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“
“We had stopped here for breakfast, while traveling through to head to Orlando. This was a perfect location. There is a Wawa next door with Tesla superchargers, and across the street there is a Bank of America that has some Electrify America chargers. There was a wait when i arrived. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant itself was clean. No complaints on cleanliness. The restrooms were decently clean and have no complainant. The food came out very fresh. I ordered the Brooklyn sandwich, since it was the last day for that special, and it was delicious. It was surprisingly very filling and a decent amount of food. They offer the ability to pay your bill, using your mobile phone. I love restaurants that allow me to do this; it made checkout very quick and easy, and didn’t have to wait in line to pay.“
“A detour from Jimmy John's led to another Plant City gem.I was headed to Jimmy John's to grab a quick bite while running errands. At the corner of my eye, I saw a sign for a new restaurant. I love finding hidden gems in Plant City, so I entered. I don’t regret the experience. It was clearly family-owned, and everybody was involved in making sure I felt comfortable. They are a classic cafe bakery, and everything looked and sounded great from the descriptions. I was greeted by who I believe is the owner. He was warm and welcoming and informed me of their menu. The cashier at checkout was a young girl who was patient while I fumbled through what I wanted. I believe the mom suggested the chicken salad and even gave me a sample to try. It was very tasty. I settled on a turkey slider, a small pepperoni pizza, and their popular chicken salad sandwich. The turkey slider was simple and straightforward. Meat, cheese, and bread. I was honestly under the impression that it was a ground turkey burger slider. This still worked out, as it was a sandwich for my toddler. The only reason I would not purchase it again is because my toddler does not typically go for cold-cut sandwiches. It's a great option for kids and was recommended by the young girl cashier. The pizza was crisp, fresh, and hot. You can't go wrong with the classic pepperoni. The crust is more like a New York slice, very thin with a crispy bottom. I love the sauce on this pizza. The pepperonis were also salty and greasy in the best way. LOL. I'll order this in the future to share with my toddler. The star of the show was definitely the chicken salad sandwich. I wish I would have gotten two of them. The chicken salad comes on two mini croissants. It was filling, but not heavy. Light but not full of fluff. The chicken was seasoned well, and I loved the addition of grapes and apples. I know I have to bring my mom back just so we can buy a pint of the chicken salad. It is that good. I see why it's popular. They did have a great range of desserts as well. I all my own Bakery and could tell just from looking that the desserts were well prepared and not try. When I go back for a pint of chicken salad, I'll be sure to grab at least a slice of strawberry cake. It looked delicious.Overall 5/5 experience. Great food. Superior service. Nice quiet spot to exhale and enjoy a treat.“
