About time!! A real pizza restaurant in Florida. If this is anything as the one in New Haven, CT, will be a treat!

“Yale” pizza from New Haven Ct . I love it this place in Plantation , The pizza was delicious and crispy. I arrived 9:30 pm, 30 minutes before closing and I was very well attended.

Not quite sure if this is the way this pizza is... I'm always open to new pizza... so, I drove 52 miles from Kendall for this classic!!! please advise... I am willing to change the stars on my review if proven to be unfair or ignorant... but this was beyond charred!!! and the Pepperoni was charcoal...the hostess was very nice and attentive, though...

Could barely eat the pizza the bottom was so tough. The texture was somewhere between cardboard and leather. Not to mention whoever cut the pizza should be fined-the most disorganized slices I’ve ever seen! Will not be going back !

This place has great pizza! I would give a five star if they had something other then pizza. We were four people and my granddaughter is not the biggest fan of pizza I'm embarrassed to say and they didn't have one option for her but she did like the pizza. Parking stinks but a nice little spot and a cool area with lots of other restaurants.

Got stuck in traffic picking up my Togo order and the excellent staff there waiting for me to get there instead if just closing like most places would do top notch employees there and great pizza
Just not worth the hype. Dry pizza. Good luck parking too especially for take out.

Let me start by saying that my wife is from New Haven, and both of us have eating at the Original Pepe"s since we were kids. I waited a while for this location to iron out the bugs before were tried and I was very satisfied. You can not, and should not compare to NH for a varied of reasons; but notwithstanding it was a good apizza. We ordered a large sausage take out for about $24; the sauce was excellent as was the sausage. The large is enough for a family, but go big (18") if you want leftovers. My wife complained that the crust was a little dry, this in part to us waiting 45 minutes before we ate. So, this is better than Anthony's (always burned my crust) and the Sicilian Oven (more bang for your buck.) If you're looking for cheap pizza go somewhere else, you want quality for the money come here...Parking: Parking is tight, but they have spots for takeoutKid-friendliness: Come early and bring the kidsWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room at tables

Best pizza I’ve had in South Florida by several orders of magnitude. Crispy and perfectly charred crust, savory sauce, hot melted cheese, it doesn’t get much better. Service was fast and friendly. I’ve been to the original location in New Haven and I think you would be splitting hairs to say that the pizza here is not as good as the original restaurant. I am thankful for the original Dave Portnoy YouTube review and for Pepe’s management’s intervention to save this restaurant location from potential mediocrity because good pizza is hard to find in this corner of the world. All in all, happy to have Pepe’s in the neighborhood and will definitely be going back soon.
