I am plant based (vegan) so I can only review the veggie roll minus the mayo and some other items they normally add. As far as veggie rolls go, I have had better, but also had worse, it is average. Service was very good. We had a time crunch and our server was very responsive to that and made certain everything came out quickly and we cashed out timely. Never had to ask for water or anything else, she was right on top of it, I think her name is Tina. Ambiance is nice here, it's tight inside, but decor, bar and sushi bar areas are done nicely.

Everything went well! We loved every single bit of their omakase experience. Chef Jimmy was PHENOMENAL. Such a kind spirit and so passionate about his food. His wife apparently made the amazing desserts and his daughter also seemed to be a server there. We loved the family owned vibe, the friendly conversation and the exquisite food. Our server, Jessica, is also their bar manager and she was amazing! So polite and never let our cups go empty. The staff had great energy all around and the food is something we will continue to return for. Regardless of if you're in the area or not, you need to give them a try. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion and it's so refreshing to see such a passionate chef and staff.

I think this place might simply not be a choice of mine but others could have a different experience. The staff is extremely friendly. They were able to sit me down on a Friday night. It was a little packed for the amount of space there is which is expected for a Friday night. The service was a bit slow since it was pretty packed. I only ordered an appetizer and left after. Order: O Tartar 3/5 * the portion was small which is okay and the taste was okay as well. Overall, the place was okay. I didn't stay long because it was so busy. I do however really appreciate the nice staff.

This restaurant is cosy, set in a quiet location of Plantation. Our dinner order of sushi, pepper steak & chicken was quite tasty.....the serving of rice was a little mushy but okay.

I was just refused service inside because I came with my service dog. It is against the law but they don't seem to understand that. I will be reporting them to the State. Don't give your money to people that discriminate!!!!!!!!

My daughter wanted sushi and we're from NY so after seeing some of the Otoro reviews here I had a feeling we would be in for a treat. However the food exceedingly surpassed our expectations and everything our family ordered was A1 duck sauce Started w/ crispy rice topped w/ tuna and crab ragoon. Best ragoon I've had hands down. I ordered the mixed sushi / Nigiri and got to taste the miso salmon which was off the chain. Also the salmon roe topped with salmon roe MONEY

I spent over $70 on a to go order. I said no prons on my sushi and I made it clear (she even repeated the order) when I got home there was prons on top and when I asked for one side of spicy mayo in person for my to go order they have to charge $1 which I didn’t have on me and run back to my car but they couldn’t just give it to me.

Otoro has the freshest fish and the best service. All the dishes are amazing and prepared with the greatest care and pride. The owners are extremely friendly and hands on. Can’t wait to come for omakase. I highly recommend Otoro Sushi!
