Found this spot after trying a few failed bar joints by the beach. They had a great happy hour and good tasting appetizers. Yuka frita and plátanos. Played Latin jams all night.

I have been coming to The Bohio since the inception . I’m so pleased to say that throughout the years it’s only gotten better . I have never been disappointed. The food is top notch and the service is always awesome ! I highly recommend this place for good food , spirits and great dance !

Oh my god Been to a bunch of Dominican places but this one ... DELICIOUS! Flavorful food, presentation was great and the portions were generous. The Trifongo was amazing, accompanied by the macitas which were moist and flavorful. The arroz con pollo had just the right blend of seasonings. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant had great ambiance and the music was great.

Being of Puerto Rican decent I will say that this restaurant is A M A Z I N G! The flavor is spot on. Large portions made it that we took some home. I had the trifonfo, the husband had mofongo and it was sooo good!! A hidden gem that everyone must try.

We lucked in to ordering happy hour items at 6:59 ! The appetizers and certain drinks and desserts are half price until 7 PM. We loved the crab cake and the burnt ends. We regretted not getting the shrimp cocktail, but we won't forget next time. The piano player was phenomenal and made the meal memorable.
What a great experience..The food was excellent, huge portions, super tasty and presentation was on point. We had a very friendly male server who helped us and took care of us up until the end. I definitely recommend this place. And yes we will be back. ???

It is in a very unassuming shopping center on Atlantic boulevard in Pompano Beach between federal highway and Dixie highway but make no mistake this place is the real deal! I decided to try them a phone go because it's very hard to find and had it with the shredded park with a little side of juice and I must tell you it was pretty mouth watering good! The waitress Maria was very nice and we had conversation about Where we were from and told stories back-and-forth about our families and of course the subject always coming back to food... On Friday nights they have karaoke and on Saturday nights they have live music she told us and I was very happily surprised when I saw a female chef walk out the door and asked how we liked our food! We will definitely be back and try a few more of their delectable looking menu items!

I want to try this restaurant in Pompano. 1. Mofongo lomo saltado 2. Mofongo de pollo 3.mangu 4. Bikini drink 5.Sunset Coronita 6. Piña grande (another drink) The mofongos were good The sunset margarita had to much ice. Piña grande was ok. But, when we received the check I was getting charged $15.00 for the Sunset Margarita. The waitress took the receipt and instead of correcting she added another drink. I went back to the restaurant and spoke with the owner. She said that the correct price for the Sunset Coronita is $15.00 but the sticker was removed from the menu and it shows $12.00 She gave me back $18.75 cash and just apologized. Well, If you visiting this restaurant please check your check before paying the bill. She keep just $4.00 and lost a customer.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. MARGATE IS MUCH BETTER! We ordered catering from this location for my gender reveal party. We were to pick up the food at around 1. When we placed the order, no one told us that we had to arrive on or before time nor did they bother to take our name. However, they did take our payment ($150 worth of food). The food was ordered three days prior to our gender reveal (ordered Wednesday and to be picked up on Saturday).Saturday comes (today) and we were running a little behind on time as expected. When we arrive to pick up the food, staff indicated that they didn’t have our order and assumed we went to the wrong location. We had a receipt to prove that we were at the right location. Not only did we pay for this food, but they didn’t have it ready, and their excuse for not having the food was that they lost the ticket.I called to discuss this with the manager and they made excuses by saying that because we were late that they had to throw the food out. Yet, when we originally placed the order we were not told of this.Terrible service and no accommodations. Never come here. Food is decent but sub par at best!
