We came here on a Friday night with a 7 pm reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. It's a small restaurant but there were still a few tables open the whole time that we dined. Our table was only a few inches away from another couple which meant not much privacy in conversation but luckily they finished and left when we got our appetizers. They served us homemade bread right away which was warm and seemed to be right out of the oven. It was delicious and there was oil and vinegar on the table for dipping. We were offered more but declined to save room for dinner. We started with the fried burrata and calamari. Both were very good. For his entree my husband ordered the chicken parm with rigatoni which was a very large serving and was some of the best we've had! I had the pappardelle porcini which was was very flavorful and the pasta was cooked to perfection. We were too full to try any desserts and felt they were a bit overpriced. The service was good and we were very happy with the food and our experience!

Wow. wow. wow. Simply put- WOW! Do not judge this book by the cover as it is located in a very small low key plaza. When you 1st walk in- the small cafe ambiance and rustic decor embraces you with heavenly scents from the kitchen. You soon forget everyone else around when the Italian wine and food arrive. We indulged with delight on fresh baked panna cotta, fried burrata that melts in your mouth, rich and succulent lobster ravioli, amazing and flavorful chicken mushroom pappardelle and a finale of wonderful limoncello mascarpone cake. When we paid our tab we were making reservations for our next visit. Everything is made fresh from scratch daily and the owners take pride in everything the do and it shows. Can't wait to get back soon!

I stumbled across this wonderful restaurant while looking through yelp for restaurant ideas. I am so happy I did! This place is definitely a hidden gem - don’t be discouraged by the location or prices, they are so worth it. The food is amazing, fresh, and everything is homemade. The menu changes daily or weekly according to local ingredients. My boyfriend and I had such a great time and Emilia, one of the owners and our waitress, was such a pleasure to talk to. The chef, the other owner, came out as well to check on us. We had the caprese appetizer, which was a fresh ball of burrata over tomato, and shared the veal Parmesan (veal was so tender) with homemade pasta and the cacio e pepe pasta. We also split a bottle of moscato and sampled a red wine that we loved (all imported from Italy). For dessert, my boyfriend got the afoggato and loved it! This dinner and experience made our entire vacation memorable. We will definitely be back when we come back to the area!

Don't let the mini-mall location fool you. This is the real deal, the chef (from Sicily) and his family man the front and back of the house and dish out some of the best pasta you'll find anywhere. The menu changes weekly or even daily and is kept on large chalkboards across one wall. Despite the mini-mall location, the inside is warm and inviting, the service is spectacular. The cacio e pepe is my favorite, not as dry as you may be used to, but you'll want more bread to soak up the sauce. They also do a sausage and mushroom pasta that is a marriage made in heaven. If it's not pasta you're after, the chicken parm is so tender you can cut it with a fork and it almost melts in your mouth. And don't miss the cannoli. The one slight drawback to all the praise is that it is a bit pricey for pasta.

This is an adorable little restaurant with a friendly staff and delicious food. Perfect spot for a date night or even a dinner with the girls. We will definitely be back!

This is my favorite restaurant in the US. We've been vacationing in Lauderdale by The Sea at least once a year for almost a decade now and in large part because of Casareccio. Every single time we come, we make a pilgrimage to taste what is new and what is fresh. Everything is delicious. Everything is artistic. Everything is made with care and intention. Always delighted.

Go early, make a reservation, don't show up near closing hoping to eat at this 7 table treasure - you'll be too late! This treasure is as authentic as it gets! EVERYTHING was delicious, made from scratch and it's obvious this is a labor of love in this family owned place you should not miss!!

I am reading these reviews and I am shocked. We went here with the family on a Sunday night and the whole meal was awful-truly disappointing. I cannot believe we paid for this experience!!! One waiter was trying to take care of the whole dining room. He was the only front of staff person who spoke English. I am not being a stinker, try to explain to someone who can't understand you that something is missing or they served the wrong thing. Every twenty mins or so the waiter would come around and try to fix what had come out wrong or been completely forgotten- and he forgot a lot! 1. We couldn't get drinks. When we did there were not enough, coffee was accidentally served as ice tea with a lemon, and there were no napkins or silverware for the table. 2. The wait to be helped was very long and then when it was time for the appetizers we got 2 out of the 3 we ordered. 3. Also, Ceasar salad should not be made with iceberg lettuce, and should be tossed. Not an inadequate squirt of dressing on the top- and there should be a plate to serve it onto. 4. Finally dinner showed up. Everyone who got pizza was happy-it was good I tried some while I waited 20 mins for my food. The food did not come out all together but in waves, so it took a while for us to realize they had forgotten my son's meal. 5. Anyone not having pizza was disappointed. 6. Lasania should have cheese, actually it should have a few kinds of cheese- including ricotta. And if you reheat it too long the noodles turn to mush. The whole table tried to just make the best of the situation, enjoy the good company. But eventually the never ending meal wore us down. You could not pay me to come back and repeat the experience.

What an excellent experience. Came on Valentine's Day, normally they are closed on Mondays but made an exception for the demand from customers. Emilia, the owner greeted us upon entering and was super welcoming. She will make you feel like family right away. Its a small quaint place, so don't expect big room service. It's a Mom&Pop style restaurant, which was perfect and what we were looking for. We were started off with some nice fresh bread and homemade Caponata. Didn't take long for this to arrive. We enjoyed! Then we started with the grilled octopus, which was amazing. My wife and I inhaled this...It had a nice crisp and had plenty of lemon to enhance the flavor. We also ordered a bottle of Amarone too. Great price and great flavor on the wine selection. For dinner, the menu changes from time to time, and it's written on the chalkboard. Everything is made fresh, so you won't see a set menu. I think most of the dishes have some sort of Sicilian style to them as they from Sicily. So, I went with Chicken Parm. I was so glad I did, because there was a few things I wanted to try as well. I made a great call. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was outstanding. The sauce made the whole dish. If you are a Chick Parm fan, GET this!! You will not be disappointed. Might be one of the best I've had around town. My wife opted for the Mushroom Parpadella. She was so glad too. The combo of mushrooms and truffle was amazing. She raved how good it was. It was a big portion too, so much that she had to take some home. She was extra happy about this, because the day after she could still enjoy it. I didn't try, not a mushroom fan, sorry. What a great experience. If you haven't gone, add it to your list. You will be back, like we will.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times. Each time we go, the food is more delicious than the last visit. It is authentic, made to order, and oh so yummy! The menu changes daily and no matter what you order, you will be thrilled with your choice. The service is kind, competent, and perfect. Enjoy your dinner!

Don't miss out on this place. Went there , party of 4 and it was perfect. Started off with great bread along with Pan seared octopus, stuff artichoke and fried Burrata. Main dishes included Eggplant Parm, Veal Parm, Chicken Insalata and Linguini/ Clams. Desert was chocolate cake and Tartufo. Wine was superb and the staff was excellent. Small place so make reservations but this place is a must.

Amazing Italian restaurant in a very unassuming place. Don't let the outside fool you. Inside is quaint with a fresh menu on the chalkboard. It changes based on ingredient availability. Love getting fresh homemade food! Service is great. Emelia the owner made you feel like you were at home. The stuffed artichokes are huge and tasted just like how my grandmother would make it! I had the paperdelle with mushrooms. It was fresh pasta. No boxed stuff here! Chocolate cake was to die for. Rich and creamy! Great selections of wines as well. Will be back soon!

This is by far the best Italian food we have ever had. We have been coming here for about a year now. Emilia and her husband Salvatore always deliver. I'd give Casareccio 10 stars if I could. This is our go to place to bring all our family and friends. The rigatoni alla vodka and chicken Parmesan is absolutely delicious. I wish we lived closer so we could be here once a week. Thank you Emilia!!!!
