"The fish taco is the best item on the menu" per our server....the fish was so dry you could tell just by the appearance....sent it back. The dressing for the beet salad was so salty, good thing we asked for it on the side....nice atmosphere and the server, Debbie, was very accommodating. Will not be returning.

The staff make the resort and restaurant. We love Claudia at the pool and Ricky and team at the bar. Can't beat the location and ambiance. This is one of our favorite bars in the world. The friendly service keeps us coming back year after year.

I had a great birthday there under the tiki. Perfect view. All four of us loved our food. I had the scallops, and that dish was absolutely great. My dad and Husband had the snapper. Both of them ate all of it. My sister in law had coconut shrimp and salad. It was a nice evening.

Cute ambiance but the food was just eh. I really was hoping to like it more but my friend and I were not wowed (and it was his birthday lunch ). I thought the service was ok but he used to be a server and said our waitress should have attended to us more. Not so sure I will be returning.

Went yesterday for breakfast and have been multiple times before. The service was always great. W hen my omelette arrived it looked amazing. I took my first bite and it tasted burnt. I opened the fold and found the entire inside burnt. I am never one to send back food since I know multiple service people. I scraped off the burnt layer and fed it to the birds.
Nice to have a drink on the beach in Pompano. Food was ok .

Menu states "pan seared JUMBO scallops" for $39, well ok sounds great. What i received were 3 average size scallops that were luke warm. The asparagus and yukon gold potatoes were cold. I did call the waitress over just to check that this was not to be a cold type of plate and she assured me that all of the food should be hot. I said well the entire dish is anything but hot and she said she would take it back and have it redone. After waiting over 10 minutes and the rest of my party finished, my food was still not out, so I asked for the manager and informed her what had happened. Her first words out of her mouth were, "well would like you like for me to box it for you to go?" What? I did not order door dash?? We had ordered a bottle of wine as well with appetizers and I expected a $39 meal to be pretty decent. It was not and the manager was in no way accommodating or sorry that it happened. The waitress was then cold to us the rest of the night and would not come to my side of the table to give me my check or take it for payment. I was really way too nice to all of them. All the manager did was take the order off of the bill and then the waitress got a crappy tip since her cook failed her. Not a good experience when you are planning on a good meal that you are paying a decent amount for. If I had went to Wen dy's I would have not thought a thing of the food or service.

We ordered room service from the Beachcomber resort and hotel that came from this restaurant and it was so good. We got the breakfast bowl and eggs benedict! The salsa was delicious and the potatoes were well seasoned and tasty. Would definitely come back.
