The food here, mainly the pizza, is really good. But unfortunately the service is awful. My family and I ordered some pizzas “for here” and were asked where we were sitting. We said outside. Easy enough. 30 minutes later no pizza. 45 minutes later no pizza. We went in and asked if the pizzas were almost ready. The server responded and said oh I didn’t know where you were sitting… so they had been ready for 15 minutes and no one saw us sitting outside when we said we were sitting outside. I see the confusion tho. There were 3 parties sitting inside and 2 parties sitting outside. I see why the job was so difficult.

Yes it is a Whole Foods and yes the groceries are extremely overpriced. Forget about the groceries and instead go for La Rachetta - the inside-grocery store restaurant where you can get shiftaced alone and eat really good pizza. Seriously, the selection of beer and wine isn't massive but it's perfect - quality all around. The pies are seriously well-made and you can put all the EVOO you want on them. I don't think you can get better pizza in SoFlo, it's shockingly exceptional. If you are mildy cultured, this is probably the best place for you to try and get laid in Pompano. This place rules.

We had been going to the La Rachetta every Friday night for dinner, but since we have been back in Pompano Beach for two weeks, we cannot get correct info on their hours and what will be available to eat and drink. I have made several phone calls and nobody has any info. Tonite we were at the store and an employee was putting a menu at each seat. When we expressed our excitement to sit down at the counter and order off the menu, the employee said they were not open tonight and she picked up the menus and walked away! Crazy!

As a vegan, it's still hard to find a good pizza... Let me tell you, the pizza here is some of the best around! The craft beer on tap is always changing, so I'm always trying new beers! I know it's Whole Foods Market, but the restaurant there is awesome! The staff that works the restaurant are also Awesome! I highly recommend La Rachetta!

What a hidden gem! Their specials are amazing and amazingly affordable. Today I got a huge pizza & a craft brew for 8 bucks!! Can't eat this cheap at home! Staff is ALWAYS friendly. Tuesday is pizza & brew or wine 8 bucks Thursday is chicken Parmesan sub & brew & Friday is Ranchetta burger & brew. All just 8 bucks made fresh to order & delicious!! 4 stars because they have a serious fruit fly problem at the bar where I was eating...yuck.

This place has become the local soup kitchen for the homeless and drug addicted scum bags. I have complained to the manager several times and they do nothing. These people eat off the hot bar with their hands or fill trays with food and just eat a full meal while standing there. I have pointed it out to employees and the management even visit and they say there is nothing they can do. So we all have to pay higher prices to feed these thieves. Not to mention the possibility of catching something from them when they eat with their bare hands. I recently watched the same guy I have seen stealing there make a tray of food and then bypass the checkout and sit done and eat. Again I got a manager and explained what I just witnessed and he said OK. I asked would you like me to point him out to you and he said no and walked away

The company reply is totally unacceptable. And now you want me to go to another website to voice my opinion. My point was already made. You sell uncooked raw meat and you sell in on your prepared cooked dept. stop being stupid about this! The pictures speak volumes!

La Rachetta is the restaurant located within Pompano Whole Foods. As such, pricewise it offers some of the best bargain values in served food you can find. Their "Bar Specials" on Tuesday are Rachetta Pizza and craft beer, on Thursday a chicken parm sub and craft beer, and on Fridays a 6 ounce Rachetta burger and craft beer for a mere $8.00. They also have an incredible selection of pizza done in a real totally professional pizza oven, Main Plates from turkey meat loaf to salmon along with a good selection of sides, pastas and desserts. My choice was their Il Formaggio Classic Grande Neopolitan at $13, which turned out to be one of the better cheese pizzas I've found. As with all Whole Foods the service is friendly, professional and polite. But I might add that this particular Whole Foods is the best one I've ever had the pleasure of dining in or shopping at. It's so much, much better than that one on Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale there is hardly any words for comparison

[FOOD BAR ONLY] This is a review just for their "hot" food bar. What a disappointment! The chicken was cold and dry, I'm assuming it was sitting under the heat lamp for what seems to be hours. The mashed potatoes were also cold. Will not try the hot food bar again. (Suggestion: Use smaller containers to house the warm food which can be changed out more frequently instead of dumping pounds and pounds of food to be left under the light for hours).

We got burgers and truffle fries at the bar and they were fantastic! We ordered the burgers medium rare and they actually came that way! It's grass fed beef so it was very tasty and juicy. The fries were plentiful and perfect. We went during happy hour so my husband got a Stella beer for $1.25! We love the rest of the store too! We've gotten wonderful salmon, shrimp and filet mignon from here and it's all very fresh.

As mentioned in another Whole Foods review, I was here on a mission to find a specific 365 product on sale. The person on the phone (I believe his name was Alex) was great. He took my information and promised to place an order. I was so surprised to get a call the next day to say a case (6 boxes) had appeared. Yay! I made my way in and he went to the back to get my product but this is taking soooo long. He returned to say he couldn't find it but let's go look at the shelf. Wow, it's there. He realized someone else must have seen the empty spot, found the case and stocked the shelf. Lucky for me it was all still there. This felt like a large, clean store that I would definitely consider returning to if I were in the area. There was plenty of parking which also made it easy. This store went above and beyond.
