Horrible Customer service. I called one time during opening hours and they picked up and told me they were closed.. other than that they don’t ever pick up the phone. They never have what you ask for like for example the odds of them having Oxtail is very slim.

The food is very flavorful. Tried the fried chicken, jambalaya, and goat with curry. All with the black rice!!Cozy and casual inside the restaurant. The owners are really nice and welcoming.Am excited to try other dishes!!

Some of the worst Haitian food I've ever had and the entire place smelt like old dirty grease. I had to take a shower after I left the restaurant to wash that putrid smell off me.

Great food affordably priced and a restaurant run by friendly folks who know their food. This is a fantastic little restaurant, and I recommend pretty much anything on the menu. The goat and tilapia are some of my favorites.Oh, and do yourself a favor: Order a side of cornbread. Your taste buds will thank you.
Stop in today with my daughter it was our first time we had shrimp poboys it was so very fresh and delicious customer service is awesome the owner the man is very nice not to mention THIS PLACE IS SUPER CLEAN they make your food fresh to order which awesome also I went right back and got 2 lunch specials fish for my daughter and chicken for me also got pikklies yummy I will definitely return seriously guys try this place it’s a hidden gem wish I would have ordered rice with my lunch special didn’t realize it didn’t come with it but I still love this restaurant and will return

If you are looking for an incredible and well priced authentic creole meal; either lunch, dinner or take-out, you can do no better than to eat at Cafe Creole, on Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. Right now, as people are starting to venture out again, you shouldn’t overlook this cafe. You will be well rewarded by eating here as we were. We ordered for lunch an amazing Gumbo with bursting flavor that lit up the taste buds, a delicious shrimp Po-boy with very fresh lettuce in a wonderful sauce and two really yummy sides: cornbread and plantains. Everything is very clean as well. The proprietor has daily specials and his wife is the very talented chef.Prices are excellent and we will be back soon. Do yourself a favor and make this eatery a regular stop!Dana and Michael

Clean quaint place, I ordered the curry goat it was tasty and tender but the rice was horribly dry you could tell I was cooked then held for way to long even the peas in the rice was shriveled up I had to pour my curry gravy over it to beable to eat it. Price was a bit more than I was expecting and they charge for water $15.00 for this.
