Everything was great! We shopped at the Lakes Park Farmers Market. The soup was the best soup we’ve ever had. The people were super kind and knowledgeable of mushrooms as they chatted with my 9-year-old mycophile. HIGHLY recommend!

Mr. Fun Guy is a regular at St. Pete Sat. Morning Market. This vendor sells infused foods, coffee chaga, reishi, maitake, crimini, shiitake, oysters, king trumpets & portobello as well as cbd oils, teas, coffee & extracts as well as cancer fighting immune boosting powders to promote healthy living. My mom bought a handful of oyster mushrooms for about $5-$6, prices have gone up recently due to inflation. I think the oyster mushroom could've been fresher, def. Was bruised up from transportation and recommend eating within 24-48 hr. It has a "meaty" texture and since my parents are Vegan, perfect item to buy and sauté at home.

I found Mr. Fun Guy at the Lakes Park Farmers Market today! Tina was working the tent and was super friendly. I got some truffle hot sauce which is amazing!! I also got the mushroom bisque that I’m eating now and it’s so good!! I love that they have vegan options for us plant powered people! Can’t wait to buy mushrooms from them!

My partner and I ate a late breakfast here a week ago. It was fabulous and cute. Goldie was our server and she was very fun and helpful. They have many different types of coffee.... so caffeine Freeks this is a great spot for you. Many different types of food and mushrooms to buy fresh or dried. And they have true Modena Italian balsamic vinegars. They gave us samples of mushroom pate and bisque....Fabulous. I asked the owner if he taught classes about mushrooms and cooking the different types. He said he was thinking about it. I said we would attend if he does. The place was a little dark, but half the lights were off and the blinds were down. So that is easily fixed. This place is Special. Try it you won’t be sorry. Suzanne Currie & Ron Bazzano

Wow. Loved the mushroom soup! What an incredible find in Port Charlotte. Excellent chef. I had been Looking for Lions Mane mushrooms and I found them here in powder, and drops. Gluten free options. Just an excellent place and owners. Same owners as the Fun Guy. Mushrooms
