The Margarita pizza is top quality! Thia, one of the waitresses is polite and knowledgeable about the menu. I have been in the several times before this review and found the rest of the staff friendly helpful and will definitely go back and recommend this to all my northern pizza lovers!!!! You must try the homemade pasta!

I am in nursing school and my classmates and I went to Tropical Smoothie first to get get a smoothie and I wanted to see what Taglio was about. I ordered a slice and my classmate ordered something as well. We were discussing about coming back for lunch one day andI was going to let my parents know who are from Italy but NOT after this incident! As we were waiting for our food one of the female workers said to us “You guys can’t have outside food here, we are a restaurant not fast food.” We informed her that we are waiting for our food. As we were leaving I informed that female worker to inform the owner that “He just lost some customers.” Well this female worker came outside and continued to insult us and stated “We don’t need your kind!” I will let Everyone know! I hope the owner does find out!!

I absolutely love the Pizza ? the Roman pizza is amazing. I would have given a 5 Star but the Lady behind the counter, I'm assuming she's the manager because she was telling at this poor girl and I could see it almost made her cry. I was there with my daughter and I made sure to let my daughter know that what she was doing is absolutely NOT how you talk to or treat people, and for that reason I will not be dining in at taglios anymore. Everytime I go there that lady makes me cringe.

So, first visit and not the last. Cute place that has energetic wait staff- Thia is a ? Rock Star, excellent food- had the Bolognese, yum! Even the house wines were good- not used to chilled red but when the temp came up they were most enjoyable. Ricotta doughnuts felt like being at the ? fair but only better. Had an italian 4-some and if I closed my eyes I felt like I was back in Naples. Will be back to try the Margherita Pizza as the crust looks great.

A group of friends and myself stopped into this place so 3 of my friends could get a slice of pizza. There was 5 of us in total. We had originally stopped into Tropical Smoothie right next door to get some smoothies, then we went next door to Taglio's for pizza. After my 3 friends placed an order for their food in Taglio's, we were sitting inside waiting for their food to be ready. We were rudely interrupted by a female employee (I assume was the manager) stating, " You cannot have your outside food and drinks in here, we aren't fast food we are a restaurant." Even though we sitting waiting for food that was bought from THEM. All we said was ok that's fine we just won't be coming back to this restaurant. Simply BECAUSE of her attitude and how it was handled. If that is the policy, fine. But you don't have to be rude to people for no reason. We walked outside and as we were going to our car, the employee comes BACK OUT of the restaurant after us to BERATE us, to justify why she was being rude to us in the first place. She told us she didn't care about having us back anyways and doesn't want us as customers. We were in no way disrespectful to anybody, we were sitting down talking amongst ourselves at a table waiting for the food to be done and that's how we were all treated. Extremely horrible customer service and I'll say it again WE WILL NEVER go back to this awful place. And the pizza was not even good anyways.

This is the highest quality and most unique Pizza in SW Florida. This is Roman Style Pizza which utilizes the most flavorful Dough, Cheese and Toppings. Ask for it a little well done. As a former Food Network Judge, I highly recommend Taglio Cucina &Pizzeria. Outstanding 8.8

We are locals who look forward to eating at Taglio's at least twice a week. Furthermore, we always look forward to the excellent customer service we receive and the wonderful food. Last night, that all changed! Once we entered it was obvious the staff had undergone a complete change-over. It was not long before our fears were confirmed, this was NOT the same restaurant we knew and loved. Upon placing our order, my beer was place on the table and things move down hill from there. Several minutes went by and my usual frosted glass was no where in sight. After 10 minutes, I got up and went to the counter and asked if I could get a frosted glass for my beer. The young girl behind the counter was completely disengaged with being helpful as I stood there! She then told me they do not have frosted beer glasses and she "might" be able to find me a glass. I went back to my table and minutes later someone produced a somewhat chilled glass! Next, we find out they have NO spaghetti! How does an Italian restaurant run out of spaghetti? Especially when they own another large restaurant right down the street, which Im sure could have sent some pasta over. I realize these are tough times and GOOD help is very hard to find. But hiring people who do not want to demonstrate good customer service, is unacceptable and the only recourse we as customers have, is not to frequent those establishments. This is ONE restaurant that is in need of good management! Bring back some of your old staff who took care of the regular customers, as well as your new ones. We miss the old Taglio's!

This restaurant is LEGIT. Ordered pickup on a Friday for my wife and my parents. We got a plus size Margherita pizza, and a couple subs. The quality was EXCEPTIONAL because they bake it in one of those authentic ovens shipped straight from Italy that cost a fortune. The subs tasted unique but good because it’s almost like they used pizza dough for the bread, and I’ve never seen that done before. You have to BRING your appetite with you, though, because the portions are very generous. My only complaint is you definitely pay for it, though, but I’d rather pay a little more for some great tasting food. My other two suggestions would be to have a fridge with soft drinks at the restaurant and to set it up like a more fancy dine in experience rather than having generic tables and booths. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the service and food, though, and it will be a regular stop when I can afford it.

Extremely slow pick up. Half my order was cold because it was done 30 mins prior to the other half.

Taglio Pizza is cozy little joint with yummy pizza. It looks like a self-serve kind of place, but a waitress did come and take our order. We tried just a standard kind of pizza (fixings), but the choices get a bit more exotic and we'll definitely be back to try the more exotic toppings. The pizza was ordered and came out in like 7 minutes! It's cooked quickly and cooked just right (hot flamed oven). They only have a few beers, nothing on tap, so maybe they could expand on this and make us even happier! I think you'll agree if you go here that the pizza ingredients are fresh and tasty, the crust gets a little burnt and that makes it even more flavorful.

Roman pizza: The crust is airy and crisp and crunchy on the bottom. This pizza is full of flavors that will give your mouth a party! There’s only one pizza maker that an expert from Rome trained. I wish I could give this place seven stars. Everything was on point from the moment you walked in, the fresh decor of the restaurant to the waitress with a little bit of a New York attitude :-).I got the $11 lunch special which is two slices of pizza with three toppings and a drink. The two slices they cut into four pieces. It was huge.

My husband and I really liked Taglio’s. I had a slice of the 4 cheese pizza and my husband had the meatball parm sandwich and both were DELICIOUS! I also like that the owner is very community minded. Highly recommend supporting this business!

TL;DR: Extremely rude service :( The waitress literally kicked us out of the restaurant for holding a smoothie cup. DETAILS: We came in to order a pizza and pasta. After asking about their drink menu, we didn't find anything that we wanted (was looking for something juicier and sweet after an exhausting day), so we bought a couple smoothies from a nearby store. When we brought these smothies in, the waitress started scolding us, saying we weren't allowed to do this "because there is a drink menu here". I said: "That's alright, we won't drink these here if you don't want us to.". Seems like a reasonable compromise, no? I'm happy not to consume outside food, that's a perfectly reasonable request. But instead, the waitress stood by our table, *glaring at us*, repeatedly yelling that "you aren't allowed to have this here" -- until finally she literally forced us out of the restaurant, despite us having ordered food! It seems quite reasonable for a restaurant to ask us not to consume outside food -- but after we agreed not to drink the outside food, the waitress kept *scolding* us before *pushing* us out from the restaurant. Again, it's fine to ask your customers not to drink something, but I don't think restaurants have the right to stop you from simply keeping a food or drink in your possession, right?? :( Otherwise they could throw you out just for having a water bottle in your hands :/
