“This is an Irish restaurant and if that’s the food you’re looking for that’s what you’ll get. Outside of that there is few options. The fish tacos were really good but extremely messy. They also had an okay kids burger and Mac and cheese was on par with any other kids meal. The server was extremely nice just slow and might have been over worked. Plenty of parking since it’s in a strip mall. They are not dietary friendly. They tried very hard to accommodate and were very polite about but none of the staff was familiar with the ingredients in the food when no dairy was requested on one meal.“
“A family business that makes you FEEL like family. Like many students and parents of students at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) Academy next door, our ritual is first BJJ then Açaí. What’s more amazing? The family that OWNS Kingdom Açaí Port Orange also compete in international BJJ competitions and almost always with the Gold Medal! Their level of seriousness in jiu-jitsu is outdone only by their kindness and passion for the REAL, BRAZILIAN AÇAÍ (beware the imitations—real açaí is hard to find outside of Brazil). My family used to consume lots of ice cream. We’re thrilled to have adopted the super fruit, açaí, as a far superior substitute. Our overall health has improved as a result. Stop in and ask for Sam and Donovan, pictured here. They’ll educate you and then change your life with this amazing treat (or entire meal substitute)! Before you know it, you’ll be family, too!Kid-friendliness: Samantha (Sam), Donovan, and Billy (Sam’s brother) are all kids coaches at the next-door Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Need I say more about their outstanding kid friendliness?! They’re amazing!“
“Takara has amazing Sushi! We love the new location at the Pavillion, it is very spacious and has ample parking. You must try the New Hello Tuna roll! The staff and management were very friendly and accommodating. Our favorite place for sushi!“
“A friend took me here for my birthday dinner. It was packed with people, not a empty seat in the place. There queso cheese dip is so good. Tacos are great and all produce was fresh. Service was fast and friendly. My friend said it wasn't authentic Mexican food and he was a little disappointed and wasn't impressed by the food but I loved it.Vegetarian options: They have no problem customizing a order to your liking. So I see no reason why a vegetarian couldn't enjoy a meal here.“
“Decided to try another one of NSB’s best and it absolutely did not disappoint! Arrived at around 4:15pm and sat at the bar. My server was friendly and was quick to get me water and bread while I looked over the menu. Decided on the sea scallops & short rib served with truffle mashed potatoes and au jus, which was just fantastic! The three scallops were large, perfectly cooked, tender and delicious, the short rib was also incredibly tender and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were top tier, the truffle was noticeable but not overpowering! Their bread was also incredibly fresh and good, nice crunchy crust with pillowy soft insides and was right out of the oven, so the salted butter they provide melted right into it— Heaven! I decided to snag a piece of the caramel cheesecake to go, which was also a wise move, because it was creamy, sweet, and had a lovely caramel flavor throughout. I will undoubtedly be back here more often, even though I live around 40 minutes away!My only critique (and it’s a pretty minor one) is I would have preferred the short rib to be one large cube instead of several smaller bite sized pieces. The large cube would have been more photogenic, but from a flavor standpoint I suppose it doesn’t matter.“
“Shawn was very attentive and made great drink suggestions which matched perfectly with our meal! As for the meal, everything was fantastic! If you’re fortunate enough to experience Shawn’s amazing service and hospitality then you’ve hit the food service jackpot!“
“My friends and I go to dinner every Wednesday and try different places each week. Today we came here! We absolutely loved our dinner. Each and every one of us. The atmosphere was great and Victoria was outstanding! I also must say it was nice to have the manager come by, twice, and checked on us and had conversation with us. You don’t see that very often at restaurants. We definitely will be back!“
“The best vegan tacos i've ever had! I ordered the Jamaican cauliflower tacos without the aioli and they were the legitimately the best tacos I've had in years. My friend ordered tuna tacos which he also enjoyed. The vibe of the whole place is super cute, we had one of the mosaic tables out front but the bar was also very well themed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it was fairly priced for casual beach eats.“
“10/10 atmosphere.10/10 coffee. Definitely check it out for the vibes, decor and cool cats working the counter.Sadly, almost everything they make has dairy and the upcharge for plant-based versions is extreme. $3 to make something vegan PLUS $2 extra to add tofu... So a wrap of 10 dollars is 50% extra ($15) if you want it plant-based with tofu. And to make most bowls vegan with protein would be $18+ (yikes), plus $7 for a latte with oatmilk. Too high for an order-at-the-counter wraps/bowl spot, in my opinion... You can get a meal at a sit-down restaurant for that (I paid $25 for vegan pasta and wine at The Garlic...!)We asked about options that already had tofu and there weren't any, so looks like the tofu scramble isn't available anymore (although, we didn't see this on their site until after we left so we didn't ask about it specifically, so maybe the barista forgot to mention it). Maybe they can bring it back?If they could lower the cost for vegan options or provide even one base vegan option with a protein (not just rice...), I'd give it 5 stars. Until then, it's a great coffee place (... And I'll be back to try the beer!)Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options with cheese, but they charge an over the top premium for fully plant-based options.“
“This is like a mom and pop little breakfast and lunch spot. they have amazing coffee and make fruit smoothies. my favorite thing here is the breakfast burrito, which I have sausage, bacon potatoes, tomato feta cheese, ranch and saracha.. I think it's the best breakfast sandwich in the entire area.“
“Eggs, pancakes, and waffles were top notch amazing! Daughters loved them as well. I’ll try the steak and eggs next time. They looked great. Very kind and helpful staff. Terrific atmosphere. Food was quick.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with crayons!“
“Had some really great Thai tonight. The price was reasonable and the service was good too! If you're in the Daytona Beach area and like good Thai, check out Siam Spice on Bay Rd and Beach St. Sorry not more pics, but we were hungry! We had the chicken satay and krab rangoon for appetizers, then hubby had the shrimp red curry and I had chicken basil fried rice. All of it was great, and my only real observation is that the sauces served with the appetizers could have been a tad thicker. The flavor was spot on though, so that was a minimal issue. Hubby had two beers and I had iced tea, and our total bill was under $50. Was a win all the way around!“
“Read the reviews (even the negative, one stars) and decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed! The recovery muffin was exactly what we had been craving for a couple days! They are made with real spinach! The coffee was excellent as was the service. In fact, we bought some of their coffee to take back to Reno as gifts“
“I am so happy that this restaurant has vegan options! Plus they fixed my dish without oil. I should've asked for no salt, too, because I found my dish too heavily seasoned with something that they said wasn't salt but it sure tasted that way. Enjoyed that yummy green juice and ate the tofu and gluten-free avocado toast and sent back the potatoes for a fresh order, no seasoning. Perfect! They were happy to accommodate. Will definitely go back!“
“This is definitely an Irish Bar. Serves food and beverages. We had the Scotch Eggs for our appetizer. I had the Corned Beef and Cabbage even though it was going to be a special on the following day. Husband had Bangers and Mash. Our food was very good and service was good too. Prices very reasonable and large selection of beer on tap cider as well. I had a Magners (reminded me of being in Ireland with their version of cider) Hubby had a Smithwicks. Still a Stout like Guinness. Will revisit next time in the area.“
“Wonderful spot for some unique and truly delicious food. Every single empanada was crispy and delicious, the green sauce they give you just takes it to the next level. We also got the rice pudding (arroz con leche) and it was also 10/10. You cannot miss this spot in Daytona Beach.“
“I am from Rockford, IL. The last time I was at Joe's Crab Shack, Daytona was in November 2011. I was thrilled to see that not only are they still there, but they have grown and now have an incredible rooftop with amazing views. The food was still great and my waiter Walfredo made my visit so special as we shared remember when stories and I showed him pics of what it looked like in 2011. Thank you for still being there and making my trip so special. Walfredo you are AMAZING!!“
“Absolutely the friendliest atmospher, nicest owners and best meal we have had in Port Orange!! The owners make it all in house fresh! Wife had Meatball panini (Kofte) and I had the Gyro panini (Doner). We also had homemade Marmalade Cheese and Carrot Cake for dessert.“
