I got the Philly to go. The man behind the counter was very polite and remembered to ask me if I needed utensils. This is my first time here. The sandwich was absolutely the most delicious thing I've tasted in a long time. I highly recommend this place. And I know I'll be back. Let support our local businesses y'all!

The two staff members had no clue what the ingredients were in the foods they were preparing. One of them, oblivious to the ingredients in the oil they used, basically told me that butter was all over their press.It was oil-based, not dairy-based. Thankfully the other staff member cared enough to look at the ingredients.That is dangerous for patrons that have allergies or intolerances.I would not eat here again based on the flippant responses from the worker and the lack of care when requesting my food be made dairy-free. The guy making the sandwiches definitely didn't seem to care about poisoning me. That's pretty backward from how service is supposed to be.The amount of oil they use on the press deep-fried my sandwich. It wasn't terrible, but definitely made me queasy and gave me indigestion from all of the oil. I only ate half of it and threw the other half away because I was worried it would make me sick. I ordered roast beef, pickle, and mustard on sourdough.Skip this place. There are better, less dangerous options.

We order through GrubHub. GrubHub messed up last time, the driver was running really late and they were closing. The restaurant called me to ask what I'd like for them to do. They went above and beyond. I love the Big Dipper sandwich. It's basically a French dip sandwich but somehow so much better than any I've ever had.

Mr. Mike has knocked it out the park with this establishment! We come here at least once a week and love it!Kid-friendliness: Our infant loves the outside seating arrangement. There is plenty of space for strollers and there are a plethora of menu options to feed kids of all ages.

Long time Service worker heart to heart review here :) Service was wonderful!! Fast and flowing just like we like it... But for the love of sandwiches, dear management!! .... Please get more varieties of better breads and sides and don't make your sandwiches so greasy!! I think this is way overpriced for what it is and it makes your hard workers look not as great as they deserve. And was that potato salad for a bird? I think at least this price can get a better side ..

Also cleanest place on the block. The Big Cheddar is roast beef, cheddar & horseradish. It is INSANE!! I’m starving just thinking about it rn. Always amazing service. Owner Mike is a real one. Super kind & caring dude who makes delicious food! This place is the best place to eat in NPR. Hands down. We have a ritual to grab a some of this amazing food togo & eat it in the river front park just steps away from the front door. Potato salad also slaps, hard. If Melt’ds making it, you know it’s has to be good. Way to go Mike. ?? ??Ps- Pic below do not do this justice at all- also we tried something new- was still fabulous but I stand by my recommendations above. Will update once I go back, can’t be long lol! xo

My order was made wrong I told the guy I dont eat pork. I ordered chicken. My sandwich was covered in bacon it was soaked in greasy bacon fat.the prices for a soda bottle was almost 3 dollars .Total disappointment to say the least never again. I didnt say anything at that time because I waited 25 mins for that order already.
