It's stated that you were open today so we made a trek out here to check out the Top Dog Grill and unfortunately it is closed. I do see the lights on and TV playing inside so we're hoping all is well because the place is closed down. My recommendation is to have your hours posted on the door or window also reflect it accurately in the Yelp app. Darn it, I was so looking forward to it!

Probably the worst experience I've had in a long time. I should have immediatly known something was off by the empty parking lot. Decided to take my daughter for a burger and dogs. You walk in, and it's very warm inside the business, and not because theres a grill. The young lady behind the counter grabs a phone as I'm trying to give my order. Wasnt until I was almost done, I realised she was taking my order on it, not texting. Very disconnected from the customer. I place my order, however, they didnt have half the items I wanted. No bottle water. No cheesesteaks. Out of half their selection of dogs. I was then handed my finished packaged food over a BAND AID on the counter!!! So gross. I should have gotten my money back but didnt want to make a scene with my daughter there. I through the whole thing away in the parking lot. We wont be back. And I'm still hungry.

I'm from detroit I have lived here for a few years I've been looking for a good coney island like back at home this is definitely#1 best chili cheese fries I've had here in Florida I will be definitely be coming back to get a taste like being back at home keep up the excellent job top dog

This place has changed owners recently and I have not tried the foods I normally eat, but did call to have two Detroit dogs ready for me to pick up on my way to work. There's only one person ahead of me, my order was not ready and I was very disappointed about how small the hot dogs were. Flavor of the chili sauce was good though. Not sure if I'll be back.

Don’t know what happened to this place! I came here about a year ago & the Chicago Dogs were so excellent as they were made by a friendly young lady. Came in recently & ordered Chicago Dogs but this time they were terrible. Chicago style dogs are usually made with mustard, relish, tomatoes, sport peppers, large pickles, celery salt as well as placed on a poppy seed bun. What I received was missing the mustard, celery salt & placed on a regular hot dog bun you get from Publix! Also the bun was soggy & fell apart. The young man at the counter wasn’t friendly & didn’t greet myself or customers who came in behind me. Seems like he didn’t want to be there. I don’t know if under new management or ownership but has definitely went downhill & that’s pretty sad because I did like this place previously:(

Staff were not the same as when I was there a year ago. Didn't greet us or welcome us to top dog and didn't even smile once. They didn't seem like they wanted to be there. So we won't be either. All tables were dirty with food remanents. It's a shame because the food is decent.

My husband and I used to love coming here. Appears to be under new ownership. No food out or cooking, no air conditioning. Worker seemed annoyed that I wanted to buy a hotdog. He would rather smoke outside with his buddies. Oh and the debit/credit card machine doesn’t work. No hot dogs being sold here. Creepy.

Love this place. Very clean. I miss the young girl that was working their. But, her brother does a Great Job too. Food is what Chicago style should be here in Florida. I am born and raised Chicagoan.....10 thumbs up.

I ordered through door dash and my experience has made it to where I will not be ordering from here again. Not only is the service terrible but the food looks nothing like the photos they have posted. They replaced items in my order that they were out of and gave me something in place of it instead of calling to say there out of things. They also replaced my kids items with things that were not even an option with the meal. Still charging me the same price because they think they can. The food was terribly thrown together and definitely could have tasted way better for the price I paid. I suggest you guys contact your customers before substituting there food. Even having a better attitude towards your customers would be much appreciated. Upon having my food redelivered it looked like I ordered from a totally different place. A heads up that's how it should look all the time. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME ORDERING FROM YOUR RESTAURANT AND I WAS SERIOUSLY LET DOWN!

I wouldn't waste your money. The original owner knew how to make the Chicago food. The new owner does not. Since when do you put lettuce and tomato on a patty melt...there was more bread than patty. The Swiss mushroom burger had no mushrooms. The loades fries were terrible. Will never go there again. If I could I would give it zero stars.

Was excited to try this place seeing the good reviews on here. As a Michigander now in Florida - I had to go for the Detroit coney. I was surprised when it was covered in melted cheese sauce (which may be a variant of any coney but never seen it before in years of eating Detroit coneys) but hey I thought the meat looked good. However the hot dog bun fell apart instantly for both hot dogs when first picking up the coney which is never a good sign. Overall, very average hot dogs with minimal taste other than cheese. I would compare it to a chili cheese dog from a gas station. The staff member, however, was nice and friendly.

Went there Saturday with a friend for an Italian beef sandwich there was a sign on the door closed for maintenance but the website said open. Hard to give it a rating when it was a wasted trip.

Top Dog Grill in NPR is pretty good. The food is made fresh in front of you with a short wait. They weren't horribly busy for a weekday evening family order. They had ALOT of take out orders to fulfill as we waited for our food to include, internet orders; Über eats and DoorDash Incase anyone wonders how all that works with this place. We ordered the American dog, a Chicago dog, and two kids skinless dogs. The kids meals comes with chocolate pudding or applesauce and French fries. We also ordered two can sodas and one chocolate peanut butter mini cake that was absolutely amazing tasting. YOU GET 10% DISCOUNT which they gave us for checking in on Yelp! My bill was a little over $30. The food was good. Better as a snack or lunch place. Small meals served until 10pm. See photos for menus.
