While visiting the area we stopped here to eat based on recommendations from a friend. Let me tell you - we will be back! Oh my gosh the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. My only feedback is on the food is related to the burger - it was over cooked and just blah, however we were there for the shrimp and oysters so that does not sway my rating. Service was good. At first I was a little lost and confused on how to order and what to do. No one takes your order they give you a slip of paper with the available items listed and you mark how many of each you want and take it to the cook. The place is small but they do have outside seating. We went just before 2:00 so we only waited 15 minutes or so to be seated. When you are put on the list they give you a paper to track whatever you take from the cooler and they ring you up at the end. We ordered the baked oysters, peel and eat shrimp and stuffed shrimp. We ate almost every bite of our food. The food was oozing with flavor and freshness. We will be back in the area in June and already talking about going back.

Just a place everyone needs to experience!!! What you need to know beforehand is that you are going to wait and could be 2 hrs. So, plan that evening accordingly. They have lots of games and possibly a band to help pass the time. Not all of your party has to be there when you put your name on the list. They only have about 12 tables and can only prepare 2-3 tables at a time so it's not a fast process. That being said our kids love going and we do to. We don't miss it when we take a beach trip!!

Well, they had a nice venue. Easy to find, on the road from St. Joe to Appalachicola. There was a little line, so we perused the shirts. They have a lot of nice t-shirts. We had a variety of dishes. I had stuffed shrimp, which were a little small. Stuffing was good, but whole dish came in a pan of melted butter 1 inch deep. No joke. Swimming. Baked oysters were fine. Raw oysters were good and cold. Steamed shrimp was best. Wife said they were over-seasoned, but u peel em, so... Good service. Serve ur own beer. Which is nice. Overall

The food is outstanding, but very expensive. The server was slow and inattentive.

I really enjoyed this spot! It's got a great history & a clever self-serve honor system I'm never seen before at a small local bar. I thought it was a unique take for the alcohol, but not so much for the "menu." It's a score card where you just check off your order & hand it to the server. It's very limited description of simple menu items, so there's a kind of "cross your fingers" this will be good feeling.I will say the oysters were great & I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the cheeseburger. The real star was the gumbo, though! LOVED IT! My only issue was the menagerie of hot sauces & condiments on the table. It's not unusual for a raw bar, but these were scarily foul. No lids & discolored liquids in HEAVILY crusted bottles with no labels. I'm just weird about things like that. STILL WORTH A STOP. Good beer selection & cool atmosphere. Don't forget to try the gumbo!

Very cool local spot for seafood. No frills, counter order style dining that’s great for families, large groups, or grabbing a quick bite. The atmosphere is more lively on the weekends with live music on the outdoor patio where they have corn hole and other games set up.Their seafood is amazing! Highly recommend the oysters, shrimp, and crab. Although they do have a few other non-seafood options for kids or those with dietary restrictions. The beer selection is pretty decent as we’ll. They have a self-serve wall cooler full of foreign and domestic beer, non-alcoholic beer, sodas, etc.Overall great food and vibe. I will be back.Kid-friendliness: Hot dogs, burgers, etc. for kids who don’t like seafood. Decent prices.

The oysters, raw and baked, were fresh and tasted great. The cheese grits were some of the best we've tasted. Cool atmosphere and friendly service.

Hello, Im Norman. Im from Greenville, South Carolina. Just visiting for a lil get away with the fam jam !!! I went here with the fam jam for dinner. We checked in around 6, and we did not eat until 9:15 ! Not ok. The woman calling people to their tables was nothing but RUDE. She had a megaphone which played an ear wrenching song of Beethoven. I don't know if it's a florida thang' but the service down here doesn't even compare to South Carolina's. I understand anger from big rushes but that gives no one the right to be rude to customers... . I will spare this place a star for the ambience, which was surprisingly good .The food was very average. But, the oysters were amazing, which is also why I spared a star LOL. Overall, don't come. The wait is not worth it. Just order pizza and enjoy. The cost for decent food and having to wait forever? NO WAY JOSE . DISCLAIMER !!! There was one really nice employee. She was very nice! God Bless her! She knows who she is and thankyou!

Not a person who reviews places much, but when I saw this was only 4 stars, I had to try to make that better. Only spot on the forgotten coast that is a 100% must eat. There will be a wait, and it's worth it. Fresh, authentic, perfect.

Indian Pass is a local icon. Their food, atmosphere, and entertainment bring locals and tourists alike to enjoy the great eats. They have an honor system for self-serve beverages from draft beer to bottled water. Love this place. In season, you may have a long wait for a table. Small dining room. We ate at the bar and saved an hour wait. Plenty of outside seating and self-serve drinks while you wait.
