By far the best place we have ate this vacation! They were so nice and welcoming and came out even to visit. It was such a relief to have finally found good seafood, I had the crab boil which was EXCELLENT and my husband had the catfish basket and he said it was the best he has had in a loooooong time and my kids made mmmmm noises the whole time they ate their gator baskets. We will definitely be back!!!!!!

This popular FOOD TRUCK now called THE TIPSY LIZARD gets five stars for heart. We stopped by due to favorable Google map reviews, but they were packing up to provide support to victims and workers in Fort Myers after hurricane Ian.Sorry to miss their food, but what a highlight to meet folks like the owner, Alex, who are answering the call. The food and location of this food truck—hasn’t changed; only the name and now Alex is the full owner.Google maps— consider a designation for food trucks, and please change the name.

It's called the Tipsy Lizard now. Food is still very good and fast Way better than waiting an hour at the other restaurants.

After a mediocre experience at one of the "raw bars" in the area, I've made it a vacation mission to find local places that serve "real" food, not a few morsels artfully arranged on a plate.A home run at the Landshark roadside stand! Or whatever the name is now. Lizard... something; or something Lizard. He didn't have the signs printed yet.Whatever the new name, it's the same curly-haired Cajun cooking up the best low-country boil I've tasted outside of the Carolinas. Wife and I split the boil (shrimp, crab claws, lobster tail, potatoes, corn... all beautifilully spiced enough to tingle the lips). Kids had chicken tender basket and fried catfish basket... but I did have to steal some of their beer-battered fries.

Don't pull in and drive off...it's very unassuming but we'll worth the visit. Chris and Alex are awesome and take pride in their product. Give em a shot you'll be glad you did.

We happened upon this food truck while we were down at Mexico Beach last week and we are so happy we stopped. They have the best boiled shrimp that we have ever eaten. It was so good that my husband ordered 2 lbs. The owner and crew were so nice. We will definitely be back when we come back down. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped today for the first time, the catfish basket was over the top. 2 large crispy fried, breaded southern-style catfish fillets and battered steak fries.....yum! Cooked to perfection. Choice of cocktail sauce or tartar sauce for dipping. We love catfish, There is no better catfish within 50 miles of this location.Jazmine was personable and attentive to our needs. Comfortable, fun and friendly dining experience.Moderately priced and worth every penny!
