I’ve been stopping in for over a year at this place and it feels like my home away from home. Cody’s my favorite kava tender and he can hook you up with a really good strawberry’s n cream kava shot! Everytime I come in it’s always a great time, and there’s also room out front to sit whenever it gets too packed inside. They host open mics, pool tournaments, and they also do special deals throughout the week too. They also have happy hour for some of their drinks too. For me I usually order a shell or two and if you don’t know what that is yet then you should come by and ask ‼️

I'm a day one regular of island root and they're great. From the owner to the bar backs they're good people. Quality products and a great laid back environment that gets pretty lively after 9pm.Vegetarian options: Fried mozz sticks, french fries etc.Parking: If there's no parking out front, there's a whole other lot out back.Kid-friendliness: Bring my 9 year old sister up here all the time, she loves it! She's made so many friends with other kids and adults alike.Wheelchair accessibility: Bar and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible (no handrails in bathroom though).

She was so good at explaining kava and kratom and even took the time to tell me how it originated. Answered every one of my questions, even made sure that I ate so I wouldn't get sick. She seemed to have great chemistry with the rest of the bar too. Such a sweet girl! Def coming back
