Ate the Mount Dora Melt and got sick in their bathroom after paying the bill. When I told the manager what happened I was met with a very defensive, "There's no way it was us. We sell so much of it. It has to be fresh." I was given a ginger Ale and sent on my way. No mention of comping the bill retroactively or investigating their health standards so that no one else gets sick.

DO NOT EVER WORK HERE or expect loyalty.I can't believe how many servers I've seen you go thru. Your manager should not be your main server. The owner doesn't even know what's going on. I've seen the manager/main server drinking on the job every time I've been there but I guess that's just acceptable. I'd think there would be better expectations

March 1, 2024 visit... Not nearly as good as it was a year ago, and neither are the prices. Server was nice and friendly, Sharie, thank you. The food wasn't worth the price. Shame too as it started out great.Wings are delicious! Not sloppy at all, nice and crispy.

My husband took me for my birthday. Very impressed!!! The service was great! The food was absolutely perfect! Compliments to the chef. Very comfy atmosphere. We'll be back!!! Oh don't miss out on the cheesecake dessert!Kid-friendliness: We were alone but there were families with small children and it felt homey.

The server was friendly and personable. If you want to just drink, this would be a good place for you. But the food left much to be desired. We ordered two appetizers, the spinach dip and the pretzels. The spinach dip had a weird stale frozen spinach smell and taste to it and barely any cheese. and the pretzel bites were drowning in melted butter and they were overcooked. If the food quality were to improve exponentially; this would be a nice "neighborhood" place to go to.
New year's day was our first time being there and I have to say it was very nice, The staff was friendly and great, the atmosphere was nice, the food was delicious, I highly recommend it.

I can not comment on food because we left before we could get our order. I had direct view of the “cook” smoking a vape pen WHILE cooking in the kitchen. When I told my husband, he told me he was watching him do it multiple times as well. We asked a hostess for a manager who then proceeded to tell us they only had a kitchen manager on duty. They acted ignorant to the fact that the guy they were talking with while he cooked was vaping during their chat. (I had watched the “cook” vape while he chatted with the two hostesses.) Apparently, if the kitchen “manager” thinks vaping while cooking is appropriate, then this seems to be an accepted way of business at this restaurant. As a healthcare provider, with many years of restaurant service experience, I hope the true management is able to re-iterate the importance of safe food handling.
