We have been to Penny’s many times for breakfast & lunch. We went last night to the Speak Easy. It was an awesome experience. The atmosphere was relaxing, the music was lovely & mellow and the food was fantastic. ?Three of us had different meals and we all enjoyed our choices. We definitely will return. It was one of the best evenings we have had.

Absolutely love love LOVE this place!! I eat here as often as I can. The breakfasts are the best in Punta Gorda and the dinners at the speakeasy: I can’t say enough about! I love the prime rib, meatloaf and French onion soup. The music is great too. ?

They were very rude to my husband based on the word of an ex-con waitress! My husband is and has always been a good and decent patron of any establishment in town and was treated like trash by Jason and Tony at the bar!! No Good and they Stink!!!!!

The diner is beautiful. Fun and exciting decor. The staff is so friendly. We became concerned when several parties that arrived and ordered after us were served ahead of us. Then our food was brought out steaming hot, dripping with grease, over-cooked. And it was just cheese burgers, tasteless with buns flattened and dripping with grease. Fries were strangely blackened. So disappointing. There's so much potential here. Please get it together. I really would like to go back.
