Pizza was amazing. Service was quick and staff was so very friendly and authentic. Pizza ingredients were so fresh and was hot when we came to pick it up. Place is nice inside but small. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly though. My husband and I ate the whole thing by ourselves. We will definitely order again!

excellent food and service, topped off with gelato from next door. This is one of the most enjoyable places to go in sw florida. The mussels must be from PEI, as they are that tasty, and the artichoke hearts in olive oil are among the favorites we like to order. Quality, quantity and variety of offerings are awesome.

Great wood fired pizza! The pizza choices range from basic meat lovers to a gourmet Gorgonzola, pear and prosciutto, you can’t go wrong with any choice. The service was excellent with seating inside and out. A great place for dinner.

The food (especially the pizza) is superb. The ambiance is like you are having dinner on the owner's patio or home, The wine list is focused and excellent. (Owner is serious about wine) . If we lived in Punta Gorda, our friends do, we'd be regulars.

We were in Punta Gorda for a few days and stumbled on this wonderful restaurant, Pizza Gorda! We enjoyed a lovely fresh salad, a glass of Stella, and the most beautiful and delicious oven fired pizza, The Ortolana. All ingredients were top notch, as was the service. Friendly and efficient. We thought about how much we enjoyed our meal and experience there for several days. We're from Chicago, so we know pizza, and these guys have their particular style dialed in. Double Thumbs Up!

My wife and I have had the best pizza from Chris Bianco in Arizona and Julianna’s in Brooklyn. This leads us to always compare to their pizza. In our opinion, Pizza Gorda is right there with the best pizza we’ve had! And be sure to stop next door for a Gelato. Yum!
