This was our third visit. While it is a very expensive dinner it's worth it. Duck is my favorite my wife had the Flounder special and our friend has dietary restrictions and asked that the Miso Salmon be made plain and she loved it.
The "Perfect Caper" is an outstanding " above and beyond" restaurant. Be sure to aske for "Zack" as your server. He is and absolute gem and a glowing server.They have a beautiful menu, a great wine list, and an atmosphere that will be exceptionally pleasing.Without a dout, one of Punta Gorda's top restaurants.

One of the best places to eat in Punta Gorda. Definitely a five star. The chef has written several cookbooks and is amazing with the food prep and taste of everything. Several other nice places to go in Punta Gorda however, this is my favorite. A bit pricey, but you’ll get what you pay for try the fillet outstanding.

Beautiful Place! The dining experience as a whole was very well rounded. Great wine selections to pair with the food. I had their Soup of the Day (butternut squash), Vegan Dish with wild Mushrooms, and finished with their house made vanilla ice cream and a shot of espresso. My husband had their Raspberry dessert which is in the picture. The only picture I took. So happy I was able to join.
Chef Jeanie is outstanding! Everything about our evening was perfect from the moment we walked in. What a wonderful, wonderful place to dine. We had the veal special and the duck. Both dishes were the best we’ve ever eaten.

The Perfect Caper is a wonderful way to celebrate special occasions. It is the only place in town to get a truly special meal. The crispy duck is my favorite. It was cooked to perfection as was the Berkshire pork. The service is always excellent.

An outstanding restaurant hidden away in PUNTA GORDA, but well worth searching for. An intriguing and diverse menu, outstanding service, and of course, everything was delicious. From appetizers to desserts we were never disappointed. It's a bit pricey but, as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for!

This was a new restaurant for us and we left absolutely pleased with our selections. The creativity of the menu, the freshness of the food, the presentation on the plate; all was top notched. Our server was informative and pleasant, especially when our dinner mate was late due to traffic. We definitely recommend this unique restaurant who appreciates good food. Only suggestion: We walked from our hotel and you are hard to find. You need a sign on the street to direct you to the rear of the building where you are located.

Our waiter, Erik was, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. We ordered most of his recommendations and had a superb meal hats off to Eric. we drove over 60 miles to the restaurant, and it was well worth the trip. As northerners, we look forward to returning year after year to this wonderful restaurant. We plan to look up Ella’s in Rhode Island when we’re at home.
