A good friend of mine went in here the other day to get lunch. The lady behind the counter was yelling at a gentleman telling him I thought you locked the door. After she entered the establishment she asked if they were serving lunch. The lady looked at her and said does it look like we're cooking?? I don't know who this woman was but that is the rudest thing I've ever heard to come out of this place. My friend told her she was a very rude woman and that she would never be back.

Their bathroom was actually disgusting. Were on a road trip and stopped to grab snacks and pee and not only was their "soap dispenser" a condiment bottle, the toilet tank to one of their two stalls was wide open with the top placed on the toilet.

idk, ribs looks a bit weird. I'd usually make my way to the Petro to get some bbq. I guess next time I'll order just the pot roast. Ribs looked great before they closed though I got a bit of a tummy ache before they closed. Not sure if that had something to do with their closure.

Look and taste like bbq is boil in water. This is not bbq. It's a shame it cost me $22 for pork and brisket plate. Next time I am in area I will eat at Wendy's or truck stop.

The brisket was NO WHERE CLOSE to Texas style brisket. It was dried out and stringy like pot roast. Ribs tasted like they were boiled and put in the oven. Chicken was decent. Mac and cheese tasted like instant. A waste of $26.00.

Jim's is closed. So don't think you can stop at the Petro and walk on over to get some great brisket. Darn it. Thought I would save you guys the trip just in case you were curious.

I’ve had take out from here twice. I won’t be back. Flies contaminating foodThe first time I had no issues with getting bbq sauce on the side with my food. The brisket and sauce were pretty good.2nd visit (different cashier) I asked for bbq sauce on the meat and on the side. I was advised that I could help myself to the bbq sauces on the tables. The bbq containers on the tables have no caps on them and there are flies everywhere which I noticed during my first visit as well.I didn’t feel comfortable using them and I couldn’t understand why a bbq place would have a problem with adding sauce to a paying customers takeout order. If they do something about the flies, they would probably get more customers who want to sit down and eat.

I almost ate at this establishment while fueling up and lemme tell ya about this place. The reviews were right. In the end, i left and went to Wendy's across the street where i got great service and the manager was very kind and was very calm during this lunch rush.
