“My friend wanted to do Chinese fast food, so we decided to try the Panda Express near her house. I was able to go inside and see what items were available, and I saw the new chili shrimp bowl. It was expensive at about 8.50, but it did have a good amount of shrimp on top of fried rice. We took a lot of condiments and fortune cookies as well and ate at home. The shrimp was fine, but it looked a bit fried and unhealthy as I think I batter in it. I did like that the sauce had a bit of a kick with the chili peppers, making it a bit more flavorful. The fried rice was fine. My friend had the kung Pao chicken, but she wasn't used to the chili peppers and found it a bit spicy for her. But I enjoyed it and liked the spiciness of the peppers. I did agree the noodles she had were a bit gummy, but it was still enjoyable. The service was friendly and helpful, and it seemed that they spoke Spanish too. I didn't really take note of the seating or atmosphere as we ate at my friends house. I found Panda Express to be your stereotypical Americanized Chinese fast food restaurant, and this branch was no exception. The food was fine, but it was a bit expensive as it was in a tourist area. I prefer going to a more local independent Chinese restaurant, but ok with Panda for a quick bite.“
