I never thought of this place as a hometown bar. But it truly is! The bartender, Amanda, is having as much fun as we are!

Such a cool old place right on the tracks. With a great story about the building dating back to the 1800s. Definitely a good stop on a road trip down us1 or just to try out for lunch.

We went as a party of six to this restaurant on the train tracks. The nostalgia of the building with the hauntings were fascinating. Lots of neat history, with several pictures of "haunting ghosts". To be honest, I'm more interested in the history of the building and its use as a depot at one point.Food was ok. Had the shrimp scampi and even though we asked for no green onions, it still had onions. Ordered the goulash, and even though I asked if there were onions and was told no, there were onions in it. Also, son ordered some onion rings and those were missed, but prepared quickly after we asked (two of us don't like onions, one loves them, go figure ?). Small mix-up with lettuce vs no lettuce on the two burgers (again, not a big deal) and apparently a miscommunication on the substituted sweet potatoe fries (once we were told there was an upcharge we declined, but they were provided anyway). All small things and completely workable. All that being said, waitress was so nice and apologetic and even offered a few free desserts to make up for it. Wasn't a huge deal to us though. Enjoyed the experience; everyone in the building was extremely nice and let us walk around to see everything. The stained glass windows were really neat all over the building. It's worth a trip if you're in Rockledge.Parking: Parking is available on both the north and south side of the restaurant with the entrance being in the middle on the east side.

Fish fry, clam chowder and beef stroganoff were all very good with generous portions. Baked potato was lacking. Service was excellent. Place is supposed to be haunted, the door opened on it's own as we walked up. Dark and cramped inside, gave me the willies. We'll go back for the food, not the atmosphere.

Back in the '70s, we would eat at Ashley's on date nights (but not called Ashley's back then). Great atmosphere & excellent service. Each dish ordered at our table was sampled & everyone agreed it was delicious. Lobster Mac & cheese & Cuban sandwiches were the specials. Both were ample servings that ended up being enjoyed the following day. It won't be long before we're returning for another celebration. The Cheesesteak & French dip sandwiches are calling meParking: We visited on a Wednesday night when the restaurant wasn't full, so no problem with parking. However, on a busy evening or party, I can see there being issuesKid-friendliness: Menu was broad enough to offer choices for kids.
The salmon was delicious. The place is an old haunted building with tons of history. Just an awesome experience.

Always love coming here for the atmosphere. There’s nothing truly special about the food, it’s standard comfort food but sometimes that’s what you’re craving. Would recommend this place!

Definitely a cool vibe to check out. The decor inside is really cool to see and the history behind the place is even better but you have to go by to experience the ghost story yourself.
