Way too pricey but the food is pretty darn good. I paid $17 for a sandwich (no sides) and it was really good but even as a brisket sandwich that's a steep price for a small shopping center bbq joint. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing! Worth trying at least once. Staff was friendly

The food is amazing and perfect for me and my wife, she doesn't like barbecue as much as me so this is an awesome compromise. The sandwiches are ridiculous big and delicious.

TL;DR - Great food/service and high prices.I'll start off with the good, and there's a lot of that -Best brisket sandwich I've ever had. Had the one with fried jalapeños on it. Was seriously good. Hand breaded jalapeños and perfectly cooked brisket and bacon on an excellent roll. 3 homemade and really tasty BBQ sauces to top it off with.Best hush puppies I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside.Good fries, good catfish, good sausage.Excellent service. Young lady running the front was a real pleasure to deal with. Some of the best service we've gotten anywhere in a long time. The bad - PRICES.$7 for 7 hushpuppies. Dollar each. $18 for a brisket sandwich, no side, not even a pickle. $18 for BBQ platter that came with 2 thin, dry slices of turkey that couldn't have weighed more than 2oz. 3 small chunks of sausage. And $1 upcharged catfish filet. $18 for a single deli sandwich, no side, no pickle.I enjoy good food all over the state of Florida and have absolutely no problem spending money for it. That said, while the food was good, I did not feel like I got my money's worth. 70 dollar meal for 2 adults and 2 kids, we left hungry.

I liked them MUCH better when they were actually a restaurant. Now they changed the business model and I am not a fan. Food is pretty good but crazy expensive

First time visitor. Went strictly to try their Reuben sandwich. Ordered a half sandwich with their handcut fries. Fries were a touch salty. Sandwich was flavorful and a hearty portion for half. It cost $14. The cost was a bit high to me. May have been more of a value if included a drink for the price. Will return but perhaps not as frequently as a may want.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and the food was fantastic!! Oh...my...word...the Brisket and pastrami were the best my Wife and I ever had!! we loved it! You must check out this place. I am an experienced griller/smoker when it comes with to slow-smoking meat, so I kid you not that these items were smoked to perfection! Can't wait to come back...blessings to the staff who was excellent.

Food is great, large portions. A bit pricier but worth it. People that work there are really nice.

The pulled chicken is so good. The baked beans are homemade and so tasty. You'll never go back to canned!

Worst sandwiches I've ever had. Sorry but out of all restaurants, sandwiches shouldn't be hard to achieve. The Reuben that's this establishment is supposed to be known for was disgusting. My husband will eat anything and he had a hard time choking this down.

Double D’s was average BBQ and was a bit expensive. The cornbread was great! I had the pulled pork and Mac n cheese and they were okay. It was completely empty at 6:00 on a Wednesday. But the server was very nice!

It's possible that this is the most overrated place I've been to in a long time. This native New Yorker was encouraged to try this place - and told that their corned beef and pastrami was on par with Katz's Deli in NYC. People who think that probably need to get out more. The only thing that was too much like Katz's was the pricing. Yes, things have gotten more expensive in recent times, but these prices are comparable to what you would pay in New York City. The cost of living, wages, and operational expenses aren't nearly what is required on the Lower East Side. But, the sadder reality was that this just wasn't very good. The pastrami had to be the fattiest meat I've ever been served in a restaurant....and, there are plenty of points of comparison. I know that you need some fat on the meat....one of the deli slicers at Katz's once told me that "the fat is where the flavor is." True, but you shouldn't be overwhelmed by fat. Also, you won't ever have your rye bread toasted at Katz's. The only time I have ever seen bread toasted without being asked is when a restaurant is trying to hide that their bread isn't fresh. Well, you got me for $27 once....but, you won't see another dollar from this guy.
