Great service, very friendly staff who are also informative! Ordered the hog fish sandwich and fish croquettes. The croquettes are these delicious fish cakes deep fried- wow! It was my favorite item that I ordered. Definitely recommend. The hog fish was a yummy sweet fish fried and placed on a sweet hamburger bun with a thin leaf of lettuce. Tartar sauce is a must , otherwise it can be a rather dry sandwich. I’ll be back- certainly a hidden gem.

Omg, The food is always freshly cooked and delicious. You may have to wait a little on the weekends but it’s worth it. Never disappointed with my food or service here. Locally owned and the people are so nice and welcoming. My fav is the Grouper and Shrimp basket with cheese grits and green beans and the fish crocheted are great too.

Great food, everything fried. Only opened Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There is always a line but it moves fast. Outside seating at picnic tables. We waited about 45 minutes to get our food, but it’s a seafood place and it was Friday during Lent. Picnic tables are shared and the time went quickly, talking to different people. We look forward to coming every year when we’re in Florida. I suggest coming during off times as the parking lot is small.

I used to commute quite regularly between Tampa and Bradenton, and this restaurant was right in the middle. I was very happy to discover it, and was delighted to keep going back. Things changed and I hadn't been there in years, and found myself there on a Friday at 11 o'clock. They had just opened and I was the second person to place my lunch order. At 11:20, the person in charge called my name and I was happy to be going over to pick up my food from the window. But when I got there, she said that they didn't have any shrimp because the truck hadn't gotten there yet, and would it be OK if she substituted something? I agreed to double the fish along with my scallops. They hadn't even started my order yet! When I got my food at 11:30 (!), I went to my car to eat, and discovered the scallops were rancid. I left that part of the meal in the dirt parking lot for the seagullls or the ants. The fish was tough and stringy. All in all a terrible experience. I wouldn't go back if they paid me. As I was driving away, I saw the fish truck driving in. The scallops were rotten!!!

Parking was available for a boat trailer and Pet Friendly!! The food was great and I would recommend getting their “large” portion and sharing it with two; So much food and comes with two sides. The home made sweet tea was very good!!
