“We went on Valentine's Day for the first time, VERY busy, and the food and service were on point in spite of the chef and server being a little overwhelmed. Very satisfying meal, and very reasonable prices. We look forward to going again on a quieter night and getting to know this sweet little neighborhood sushi bistro better.“
“This was my first visit to BG Robata Sushi and I was impressed with both the food and the kindness of service. The restaurant itself is located in Bayside Bridge Plaza, near the center corner. The interior of the restaurant was open, airy and clean. Very comfortable and welcoming with a traditional sushi restaurant feel (No TVs, or gaudy decorations). Calm jazz and traditional music discreetly filled the air. There's a large comfortable bar, which I chose (though it does not have a footstep, so I used a neighboring chair for this purpose since I'm short). An open area kitchen behind the sushi bar was a pleasant surprise. There was table seating with half-booth style benches against the wall. No true booths though, for those that may be wishing a more secluded eating experience. I actually prefer this though my wife (who was not with me at the time) always prefers booths.I ordered Asahi beer with the sashimi lunch special and a side Japanese bagel roll. The sashimi special (pictured) was quite delightful as they included octopus, conch and crab salad with the traditional tuna, salmon, yellow tail, and escalar. These were bedded on fresh, crisp lettuce and beautifully displayed. It also included soup or salad. I chose the miso soup which came out nicely hot and flavorful. All the sashimi was clearly fresh and well kept.A wonderful eating experience!Parking: Typical shopping center parking.Kid-friendliness: Several high chairs were visible.“
“Date night with the hubs. We wanted to try something new and this place did not disappoint. We tried several dishes and everything was delicious! He had soup, the steak, and fried rice. I tried the seaweed salad and a few sushi rolls. There are a few other items I can’t wait to try. Will definitely be back!“
“I have never been to Pisces so I want to give them a try. We made reservations and we were seated immediately to our table! I give them a five star as most places make us wait. The hostesses were nice. The menu was actually perfect as they had the right amount of selection. Not to much and not to little. The sushi selection has a variety of different types of rolls. They had some unique dishes along with unique names. I give them 5 star for a well thought out menu. The server wasn’t bad as he was quick to response but he did forget a couple of things. Now onto the value for the price of the food. I know that the location is in Dunedin and therefore everything is very expensive in this little town. And like all sushi places, they charge very high prices. However this place is about 20% higher but I know you are paying higher prices to have the ambience of being downtown Dunedin. We ordered the Caesar salad which is $10 for a very small plate of salad with just dressing. This was very disappointing! We ordered three rolls and the average prices for their rolls is between $16 to $24. We ordered the firecracker roll, alcohol boho, and Mexican roll. When the sushi came out, I was kind of disappointed as they were pretty small rolls compared to some high end sushi places I have gone to when compared to the price. The rice was still moist and soft but they lack favor. All the rolls tasted the same.Overall, I did enjoy sitting on their patio and enjoying a relaxing dinner while people watching as they all walk by. I would come back for the ambience but expect average Japanese food and paying a little more.“
“MR LC Asian Bistro for the win! Shishito peppers, spicy seafood soup, seaweed salad, some funky, roll with tempura, shrimp, crab, Connie, temporary crunchies, and a couple other random rolls. Everything was fresh and incredibly flavorful. High recommended if you’re in the Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin area of Florida. Also, the atmosphere is bright and clean and the service is friendly. I would definitely return.“
“We first saw this local restaurant around July of 2023 when preparing for a wedding. next to this restaurant and I think they have just opened not long ago. It was afternoon and when we entered , a young nice gentleman greets us and told us tho sit at any table we prefer. We looked at the menu and I ordered the a salad with shrimp and rice . The sauce tastes so good but very spicy and I didn’t mind the spiciness . We have been going there ever since and we sat at the same table from day one and they know exactly what food we like . My husband had the duck with mixed vegetables and a bowl of rice and he loves it .“
“First time here tonight. Definitely won't be the last. Very unassuming from the front, tucked into the corner of a strip mall. Pleasantly surprised how nice the inside was. Great decor and ambiance and clean! Excellent service and food was the best anywhere in the Tampa area. Ten thumbs up!“
“My family was obsessed with Kaiko's in countryside back in the day and I have been dying to have that again. So when I saw that Charlie opened another restaurant I was so excited. And it did not disappoint. It was the same amazing food I remember having at kaikos. Charlie is the best! Staff was so helpful and friendly. I had the Mexican roll and super crunchy roll. It was amazing. 10/10. Hopefully he still does the Scott roll cause I'm asking for that next time I come!!!“
“We were not expecting the quality this place delivers. Went with my family who are mild sushi fans, they were happy with the place but i was very positively surprised by both quality of rolls and service level.I’d love to go back for a more thorough experience. Definitely recommend for sushi/japanese option.“
“We were very pleased with the sushi and appetizers here. Everything we ordered was fantastic! The tea is fresh brewed and readily refilled, too. All the staff were very attentive. Every person who walked past our table checked to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. Not just our waitress. Every employee! It was impressive. They were kind of busy, too. So to get such careful attention even when they're busy and the food was phenomenal too!Wow! We will be back!“
“Convenient located in Largo Mall, Florida. Menus include the sushi bar, Vietnamese dishes, especially Pho (well-known soup), and other Oriental meals. Table services are clean and courtesy. Prices are competitive. Not crowded. Dine-in or to-go.“
“Do not judge a book by its cover. The interior is neat and quiet. The service is awesome and the food is delicious. Will definitely go back.Dietary restrictions: I chose the duck dish. Which had a lot of veggies and a good size portion of jasmine rice.Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu.“
“We were craving for some Thai food after a day at the beach. DeliciousGreat selection of beverages, and variety of appetizers, entrees & desserts. We enjoyed the Thai tea. Delicious yellow curry, shrimp drunken noodle, bean curd with fresh vegetables. Generous portions ++ very reasonable pricingWe saw more locals than tourist here.Excellent service & attention to guests !Thanks for adding some Thai zest in Dunedin.“
“We had been wanting to try this. It's a cute, small homey place. Most tables were full but we didn't have to wait to be seated. Service was very nice and food was good. With the dinner boxes, you get a decent amount of food for the price. Sushi fish tasted fresh. I would definitely go “
“I love this little place! It gets packed so plan accordingly. It's a small place but worth the wait. Eat here all the time! Sushi is fantastic and super fresh, Ken flys it in daily. Service is good! Favorites are the pirate roll and their iced green tea! Their other cooked items, pad Thai, rice, noodles are also delicious“
“My partner and I have been here multiple times and have brought friends here as well. We always have fantastic food. The pho, ramen, sushi, you literally can't go wrong. I wanted to write this review about our server last night. My friend and I had dinner. Our server was working the whole front half of the restaurant by himself. Bussing tables, serving tables, checking out to go orders, making sushi, serving drinks, answering the phone. He was literally doing most of this stuff by himself. He was exceptionally kind and even though we had to wait a little (we didn't mind) it was great service. Unfortunately some people walked out because they felt it wasn't fast enough but at no point did I feel it was unreasonable. You could also see he genuinely felt horrible these people left. Our patience was rewarded with great service and great food. Always remember to have a little patience with people. You never know the full story. You may only see a small glimpse of the work that is being done.“
“I have been searching for an awesome sushi restaurant for the past 3 months. From West Tampa to Holiday to St Pete and several sushi restaurants in between. I would find a new place and spend the next three days trying different rolls. Maybe I was just lucky but every place I went to was good. There wasn't one that stood out over the others or one that was bad enough to single it out. I just happened to be in Palm Harbor last night and saw a sushi bar in a strip center. I ordered two rolls online, to go. Traffic was horrible so I decided to pull back into the parking lot and eat my sushi.IT TOOK ME OVER 90 DAYS AND PROBABLY OVER 100 ROLLS TO FIND A SUSHI BAR THAT EASILY STOOD OUT OVER THE OTHERS. MIKE'S SUSHI IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUSHI I'VE EATEN IN FLORIDA.The flavors were on point, fresh and absolutely delicious. The presentation was pure artwork. The price for the signature rolls is just a little higher than the average sushi bar but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portion served is close to twice the size of all the other competitors. If you like sushi then Mike's Sushi Bar is the place to go. It is a definite 5 star sushi bar and you won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to going back again tonight.“
“What an awesome place to have a family dinner. We decided to celebrate my birthday here. The food was very fresh and great tasting. Services was fast and on point. It was a big group but nobody had anything but great things to say about the place.“
“First impression was great. The place is very cozy and the ambience was relaxing and inviting. The food tasted fresh and came out quick. Plenty of options of great drinks and she was very kind and patient with us. Starting with a plum wine, watermelon and also green apple Saki. The crab ragoon had so much crab. And the curry krab ragoon was amazing. The smokiness without the heat. The Aki roll was my favorite. If you are in the area this is a must visit Sushi ? restaurant.“
“I sat at the bar where Ashlee greeted me promptly and made me a spicy bloody Mary. She informed me was happy hour, and several drinks were $5 and under including my Bloody Mary! They also had a happy hour sushi on the weekends $5 rolls. This was definitely a bargain.I started my meal ordering the Arizona roll and the Florida roll. They were both fantastic. I preferred the Arizona over the Florida midway through my meal. I also ordered the Eel and spicy tuna. If I had to pick the eel is definitely my favorite.I have never found this much sushi ? for only $20 bucks! You need to come check this place out.“
“Love the variety of all the large, fresh cut steamed veggies hiding under all that beautiful chicken and AMAZING sauce. The crispy Duck was also great. Soup and salad yum! Service - very fast, friendly and helpful. We will be back to try more soon.“
“We decided to give Hot Tuna a try in 2020 during Covid when our go to sushi place had shut down. In four years our EVERY Friday experience has been consistent. Every Friday for four years our food has been nothing short of fresh and delicious. The employees know us, acknowledge us, and make us feel special. You will not be disappointed by giving Hot Tuna a try. They’re consistent across the board. We appreciate the quality of food and service they provide. There aren’t many places you can dine at these days that check all the boxes. Thank you Hot Tuna for our Fridays!“
“This little gem was a massive surprise. I just happened to Google sushi restaurants nearby as I was trying to find a place to grab a bite to eat while rush hour traffic died down. So glad Google led me here! The sushi is fresh and delicious! Beautiful presentation and top-notch service. I would recommend this place to anyone. I just wish I lived close enough to come over and over and over again.“
“Quaint. Good food. Younger servers very attentive. On top of all the nicety and needs. Some of the older servers rushed and didn’t listen to what was being ordered. Rushed us as we went around.Parking: It’s near a shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options“
“Very friendly and eager-to-please owner who is beloved by his many repeat customers. Sometimes he's willing to prepare for me items at lunchtime that are only on the dinner menu. Not fast food. Everything seems prepared fresh, so there can be a wait. I dine here repeatedly for lunch, when I'm not in a hurry to return to the office. My favorite menu items are (raw) tuna salad, yummy chive pancakes, fried bananas, and salmon and tuna sushi.“
“Absolutely amazing experience at SushuTu I highly recommend coming here. If you want to eat sushi that taste like it's been made with pure love this is the place to be . Exceptional hospitality to top off the glorious sushi . Check them out“
“Overall it was pleasant. The grouper was cooked to perfection, could have used a bit more red pepper marscapone. The yakisoba noodles we lack luster. I thought it would have more flavor. The sushi roll my husband ordered was amazing. The service is great. I also ordered the elderflower white cosmo drink which was a wonderful blend of floral citrus and not too sweet. The calamari was so fresh and delicious! We would come back.“
“Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere! The rolls were fresh and beautiful and I recommend the wagyu appetizer as well. Absolutely coming back!Wheelchair accessibility: Small step outside to get in. Don't doors open on both sides and lower tables with individual chairs“
“My family was in Clearwater for one night and decided to hit up Sekushi for dinner. The aesthetic inside was really cool and we were seated near the fish tank which my kiddo liked. Our waiter was alright, seemed a bit indifferent and checked on us a couple times after the food arrived. The steamed pork dumplings were absolutely delicious and the spicy pork tonkatsu ramen was divine. First time I personally have seen ramen served with ground pork but it was good.If we are ever back in the area I definitely would try Sekushi again.“
“We frequent this establishment on Saturdays for lunch...Seriously the BEST lunch special!! Soup, 2 spring rolls and entree for $10!! Service is amazing, the restaurant is super clean and the food wonderfully fresh!! They're open for lunch 11:30-2:30. You're seriously missing out if you don't check this place out!!“
“Moved in around the corner. Finally took a drunk walk over here. They have late hours, an the late night menu is ??? that an they have big Asahi! (Asahi>Karin>Sapporo)I'm migraine prone an often have to eat late. That with the low perfect lighting of this place I'll be back often.“
“Fresh tasty sushi and appetizers, Japanese beers available. Quiet and serene restaurant in Palm Harbor that we go to from time to time when we want to eat sushi without driving far and being in the overcrowded place like some other sushi places we visit, waiting for your order to be brought to you for an hour.“
“Visited this place on our trip to Clearwater and absolutely loved the ambiance and the delicious food. We ordered, Tom ka soup, spring rolls, Pattaya fried rice and Siew noodles with chicken, it was beet flavorful and delicious. The spice level was perfect for medium spicy. I wanted to take a star away for service but I didn’t because only one person was working on taking orders, bringing food and taking to-go orders. She did her best single handed. The food made it all worth it. This is the best meal we had on this trip. Gave a feeling of home cooked, non greasy, flavorful mouthwatering food.Dietary restrictions: GF and DF friendly“
“Exceptional sushi, paired with impeccable service, defined my experience at this establishment. Although there was a slight oversight in the delivery of my appetizer, the staff promptly rectified the situation, ensuring I felt thoroughly accommodated. Their dedication to customer satisfaction elevated the dining experience, leaving a lasting impression of excellence.“
“Entertainment was excellent with Tom Cotter as the headliner. We had our two required drinks and they were great too. The drink menu has no prices so choose carefully. Even a pop was $8. That and an 18% gratuity added to your bill. Wife and I had 5 drinks and with gratuity the bill was $75. HOWEVER, with the Groupon coupon, it cost us $103 for the evening. Not a bad cost for an evening out. So the advice is use Groupon for tickets and be careful ordering drinks.“
“The quality of food is excellent. Staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Special recognition for Kelly and Eric for breakfast service, and most especially Lori for dinner service. Lori and the kitchen staff accommodated us at closing time on our 1st night, provided suggestions for our trips to the ballpark and the surrounding area, and provide fantastic service at dinner on our last night!“
“Atmosphere was excellent, selection of beer, wine and spirits was great as well. Our server and our chef were outstanding. Attentive, entertaining and accommodating. Bit pricey, but you get a ton of food- they don't skimp on the portion sizes. Parents had a great time. Recommend if you have a group!“
“I've been here a few times now an every time I come here their sushi is awesome! Waitress I had today was great. The place wasn't noisy at all. Great place for Sushi. I've had some sushi that us just so so an that's not the case here! Enjoy because I do!“
“Second time coming here and its been such a pleasant experience each time! Great food and service from Nancy. My party had the fried udon noodles, crab rangoon, roti canai , and boba teas which were all delicious and fresh. Also, a clean and quiet environment to have a nice meal with someone. This place is a hidden gem!“
“Pretty Good We’ve been here for to-go orders in the past. I have lower expectations for to-go since the food is never as hot and fresh as at the restaurant. This time we ate in the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and bright and the service is good. We started with the Bao Bun sampler which was delicious. We moved on to the appetizer sampler. The chicken wings and spring rolls were pretty good. The shrimp and Crab Rangoon were only OK and I wouldn’t get them again. Moving on, the Spot Special Banh Mi was very good. The Eye Round Pho was only OK and had a thin flavor. The Chicken Stir Fry with Vegetables was pretty good with a nice flavor, but the chicken had an overly-tenderized and spongy consistency. So, it was hit and miss. I would go back for the Bao Buns and the Banh Mi.“
“I love this place for lunch! Vegetarian here, the rolls are always impressive, the veg habachi is amazing, and I tried the pizza yesterday. Pizza is the best and now my favorite place for pizza. (This is two restaurants in one large building, 2 menus, you can order off of either one. The building is a large (high ceiling-like First Watch) so it can easily get loud when the high tops are filled and they are drinking LOL.“
“The Pad Thai is the best anywhere I've been, sweet and succulent. Chicken Panang Curry and the bento boxes are delish, too, making the choice hard. The ethnic decor and friendly service are wonderful, but it's the flavors that keep us coming back, year after year. Enjoy!“
“So I order to go from them once in a whileEach time I order they call my cell from the street to co.e and take the food.... for some reason they don't come to the front door. I also noticed that each time I come outside they on the phone probably making sure nothing happens to them so they want to leave the phone on??Anyway the food is usually ok bu my last order it was a mess . The veggie lo main looked like they just throw it in the box and I ordered a large meal. Before I used to get more and split it but this time I think it was small. The sushi is ok but no matter how many different sushi you order they put them all in the same box!!!“
“Great pad Thai! I’ll be back :) also the lard nai wide noodles are great. Amazing flavors, no wait on a Friday evening and good portions.Highly recommend if your looking for Thai food in palm harbor.Only thing I would say is this is the second time I’m served a chipped plate. ?️ I think if it’s chipped it shouldn’t be served to customers.“
“Always pleased with the service and food here. I've been using this restaurant for well over 8 years with very few issues (everyone makes mistakes) Speedy delivery, well before the expected time. They take note of and are cautious of food allergies that my children have. Tokyo is my #1 choice when it comes to local Chinese and I'm glad to have them nearby!“
“Food was amazing, service was amazing, atmosphere was amazing. Everything about this place was amazing I went here tried some new things like, red bean mochi and squid. The woman who worked there was one of the kindest employees I've ever met, overall a 10/10 would definitely recommend for people trying new places!“
“I order here off Doordash ALL the time! They offer so many deals on doordash, like happy hour, 15% off or a free item with a certain purchase amount. So I feel like they're super fairly priced. PLUSSSSS they are SOOOOOO good. Especially their Pad Thai, I normally get their sushi, but today I ordered their Pad Thai & it was phenomenal. I'll definitely have to come check them out in person soon! ❤️?“
“Everything about this place was amazing. Very personal and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The freshness of the fish was top notch. Worth every penny! I wish I lived near by so I could enjoy this delicacy all the time. Definitely a top highlight of my visit to Florida!“
“My husband and I went here for dinner once and we were really happy overall with our experience. The food was excellent, both presentation and taste wise. We ordered the Crab Rangoons for an appetizer and they were amazing, some of the best Crab Rangoon's I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the Volcano Sushi Roll for his entree and he loved it, I tried it as well and thought it was very tasty. I ordered the Bone-In Chicken and it was also quite good, however I was not a huge fan of the sauce on the chicken. My husband really enjoyed the chicken too, it definitely had a lot of flavor and was cooked to perfection. Very juicy, not remotely dry which is what you should get at an expensive restaurant such as this one. We ordered the Pandan Brûlée for dessert and it was very yummy, not the best crème brûlée I've ever had but good. The service here was wonderful. Our server was super helpful, kind, and most of all, he was very attentive to our every need. I love the ambiance in this restaurant, it is extremely relaxed and it feels very much like fine-dining. It was very fancy overall and a great dining experience, 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!“
“WOW, do we wish this spot was a little closer to us! We have been twice now and LOVE it here! David welcomes you with such care, and every staff member is friendly and efficient. The cocktail menu is one of the best in the area! Our dishes this time (salmon and chicken marsala) were on point! Dessert was apple cobbler, also excellent! Various seating areas both indoors and outside. Really great spot! Highly recommend!“
