Ordered food directly on the private beach and along with a cocktail. Mani wrap was tasty! You can’t beat this view with lunch. The waitress Brittany was awesome too!!

The highlight of our stay at the Don was visiting Jake at the Beacon! Delicious drinks, great food options, and even better conversation! Highly recommend! Thank you Jake!

This is an absolute gem of a location. Thanks so much to pool server Katie. She was warm, knowledgeable, accommodating, and took excellent care of my friends and me while we celebrated our very own Katie’s birthday. Can’t wait to return!

We are local and went for a celebratory lunch. Stopped at a slow pool bar for a drink before our reservation and was very unimpressed. We sat by two empty glasses, waited for a bartender and was greeted with "do you want another?". We said that we had just arrived and the bartender removed the glasses and handed us a drink menu. We waited forever and finally had another bartender ask us for our order. The bar was not busy and there were open seats! We left the tab open but only had a drink and waited forever to request to close our 1 drink order. Extremely disappointed and really wanted it to reflect the price. We are happy to pay but this service was extremely low!

So delicious! We are staying at the don cesar and chose to eat here purely out of convenience so we weren't expecting much but WOW! The grouper bites were crunchy on the outside and delicate on the inside. They came with a delicious remolaude. The brisket sandwich was juicy and flavorful. We've had several different drinks here and all have been delicious. This place is shockingly good!

After waiting 30+ minutes for a DRY inedible fish sandwich, I asked for any condiment to help and was told "I'm too busy". Straight to the point... OVER priced, poor quality, and lack luster attitude. Go support any of the other well deserving local restaurants.

Super expensive, poor service, dirty, watered down drinks at $15 a pop, long wait for food

A terrible experience at the Don Cesar. Unfriendly non-engaging staff, dirty bar setup, open ingredients containers and messy work stations in full view. Food was marginal but ok. We understand the need to use disposable service ware during the pandemic but their system was really unappealing. The utensils were of the cheapest quality on the planet and one little napkin was as flimsy as a tissue. Also served in a very generic plastic bag labeled "take out"...nothing personalized for the place. The worst part was that we were charged 28.00 and change to park. There is only one parking lot so we had not choice. When addressed with the manager on duty he was totally uncaring, almost rude and would not reverse the charge. We were there less than an hour and will never go back as much as I have loved this historic hotel for years.

Pool/Beach service for drinks was very slow due to lack of staffing. Better off bringing your own from the ice cream store which sells beer/wine.

We had a great early dinner. The food was great and the drinks were delicious. Every level of the deck was accessible by a ramp system, which made our lives super easy. The service was slow during a non busy time period, which is why I deducted a star.
