Room 404a. Constant 'humming' noise which cannot be terminated. Not good for a light sleeper such as myself.Would stay in a quiet room. Max $200 all inclusive. No hair dryer in room.

-Bring your own umbrella and chairs. Anything over 15mph they won’t put them out.-Most times limited staff. ASK FOR MORE TOWELS ASAP. U only get 2 for a family of 4.-Restaurant and service in restaurant are fantastic!!!-Rooms, pool and valet staff great too. Get towels early at pool too!It is owned out of Minnesota so u get off site management. No phones in rooms and have to connect to call center.Could be a great place but on-site management and actually being proactive with any real direction is really disappointing. Maybe they figure that part out and this place then becomes 5 stars.

First I'd like to say how amazing some of the servers, valet, view, and pool were. The front desk needs replacement. The girl who checked us in was rude, barely smiled, and barely said 2 words other than last name and here's your keys. Never said a word about a $400 hold on my card. Most of the men at the front desk were equally as rude. They all need classes (as in more than one)in hospitality. There was music one day at the pool in our 4 night stay. One day of a hotel pool bar. Pretty sure that's not what the description was when I booked it. It's spring break so the hotel was pretty full. We had to use our phone for music to entertain the hotel guests. For breakfast at the hotel I was asked from across the room to grab my own menus and seat ourselves. What? Where are the menus? Do I work here? For $400 a night that's ridiculous. Then I was told the cook doesn't speak English so I will need to piece my order together and build my own breakfast sandwich (egg and cheese on a bagel). They were out of butter for toast I was told. Out of butter? It's a kitchen. Hotel floors are filthy, our feet were black. Paper thin walls. You hear everything. Then the extra charges to my card for resort fees and taxes that I already paid and showed the front desk. Their response, contact your third party. Ummm you just charged my card so why can't you take care of it? I'm not surprised they would pass the buck as the school girl behind the counter only wanted to text on his phone and giggle with his co worker. Really unfortunate to spend that kind of money and to receive the experience we did. After reading all the other responses I should have known better. My view of a side lot, when we were supposed to have a view of the water was just another lie on the booking site. Save yourself the hassle and money and go some where else.

Not a 4 star hotel and not worth the price at all. Hardly any amenities in the room. Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Hot tub closed at 8pm which is too early for that kind of amenity. Will never stay here again.

Pros- amazing location, gorgeous rooftop bar, excellent restaurant, fantastic pool, top notch valet serviceCons- Highly disorganized since the new owner. Staff was clearly frustrated because of that. Overpriced for the value of the rooms. My air conditioner didn’t work for 3 out of the 4 nights I was there, and the front desk told me it was happening to a lot of the rooms?!Hard to get the cleaning service attention. Hidden fees upon check out.

The rooms are nicely appointed. They could use a cleaning. It should be spotless considering the price. Just saying.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I was in a wedding on a Saturday. We called weeks in advance to ask for early check in as their “standard check in” is 4 pm. The wedding ceremony was at 5 pm and my fiancé and I needed a room to change and get ready in as we traveled for this wedding. Our friends who were with us had their own reservation and followed the same steps. We also called the day before the wedding and the morning of to ensure we could check in early. The staff assured we would be in our room by 11-12 at the latest. Upon arrival the front staff kept telling us they couldn’t get ahold of any of the cleaning staff and could not provide us with a room, and that it would be close to 4 by the time we could get a room. RIDICULOUS. We asked the speak to a manager and were told no one was in. After much complaining from 3 of us girls in the wedding party, the front desk lady finally allowed us all into one hotel room by 2:30 pm. Our friends room was not ready until close to the ceremony, around 4:15 pm. Upon checking in and checking out, I provided my credit card and was told I’d receive an emailed receipt. My credit card showed a pending charge the day I checked in (Saturday). Checked my bank account today (Monday), and they charged my debit card as well (which was provided as a card to be on file when I initially booked over the phone but called and had it removed and gave them my credit card over the phone weeks before the wedding). This place is an absolute joke. They have no customer service and it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone. Stay anywhere else but here!!!!

Sadly it was a horrible experience, we spent the first 2.5 hours trying to get our room situation settled. The front desk lady was absolutely terrible, had zero customer service. She was blaming us for our reservation not being correct in their system when I booked directly from Zamora’s website with email receipt proof. She was hostile and aggressive from the start and snapped at me several times. And we weren’t the only ppl being treated horribly, the older couple behind us also trying to check in just left the hotel bc she was being so rude. I get being short staffed but that front desk women does not belong in the service industry and/or needs major training. Especially if The Hotel Zamora is claiming a “resort experience.”….I paid extra for early check in ($40) which I was not reimbursed for, never got the king suite I reserved and had to downgrade without compensation (other than a drink from their bar?) just to get over with the horrible check in situation so I could try to start enjoying the weekend with my friend I hadn’t seen in a year. I will not be back and would NOT recommend this place. The price this place thinks it can charge for that horrible service is insane. The two positives: the valet guys were wonderful! So kind, very helpful nice guys. And the morning breakfast staff at the restaurant were lovely too. Maybe just go for a meal but definitely skip the hotel stay!

This is a really hard review for me to write because I really want to love this place. My now husband and I chose to get married here due to it's beautiful location, specifically its rooftop. Well, to start with the good, the rooftop was indeed gorgeous to get married. Also, all the food was absolutely delicious. The valets were kind, the wait staff in Castille was wonderful and I want to shout out Carly, who helped us plan the wedding, as well as David, a kind employee who tended to my husband and I the night of our wedding. For me to give a two star rating after all those things goes to show just how bad the bad things went.Firstly, the hotel and my coordinator had terrible communication with me as well as one another despite them being an exclusive vendor for her. They would each provide me different rules on aspects of planning. When I had questions regarding the room block, it took more than 10 phone calls and another few emails to hear from Jacqueline, who took absolutely no time throwing my coordinator under the bus and blaming every miscommunication on someone else. It seems that not taking accountability is the Hotel Management's M.O. seeing as they did not attempt to apologize or accommodate guests when the water was shut off for multiple hours during the day while we were staying here for our wedding trying to prepare for the rehearsal. Instead, we were lied to and kept being told "30 more minutes" which turned into three hours. Then, In the middle of our wedding, they kicked us out of the conference room we were told we would have all day. Members of the bridal party had to leave the wedding to clean this room out at the hotel's request. If a time to be out was communicated sooner, we could have planned accordingly but we were told we would have the room until the wedding was over. Also during the wedding, our wedding cake (which was a small 10 person cutting cake) was cut up and given out to approximately 20 of our 100 guests, because it obviously was not big enough to serve everyone. I had specifically asked it be boxed up after cutting and delivered to our room. We also were not set aside anything from our dessert table which I also requested. We were given a welcome tray of desserts from the staff with nuts all over the desserts, despite my husband and I both being allergic. With us spending so much money to get married at the hotel, and the hotel being well aware of our allergies, I found this upsetting as my husband could have gone into anaphylaxis had I not seen and removed the tray first.Lastly, my parents are both disabled and it's upsetting that a hotel that is supposed to be such high caliber, is unable to help disabled guests with their bags.Unfortunately a beautiful view, good food and some sweet employees are unable to make up for all of the bad. I'm lucky to have had other amazing vendors that made up for where the hotel grossly lacked. I hope others in the future have a better time than we did.

Getting in touch with an actual person at the hotel is a nightmare. You usually get some central reservation person. You leave your information for a call back and you never receive it. I called back three times and each time I had to provide all kinds of information which was just as irritating because the person I continually asked for never bothered tocall me back and when I eventually spoke with a person on the third try she said the first person gave me inaccurate information. The rooms were over $400 per night and the hotel isn't even on the beach. For this rate you can stay at the famous Don Cesar!Walkability: You are not on the beach at all for close to $450, their standard rate.

Me and wife came here for our honeymoon 2 years ago and had the best time of our lives. The food was amazing, views were great, and the staff couldn’t have made us feel more special. The staff all remembered our names as we stayed for the week and really made us feel like we had a small family at the Zamora. Al in Valet deserves a huge promotion. He is the best. We must’ve talked forever. He truly knows what hospitality is. We talked about how happy we were there and we decided to go back this year. Unfortunately Zamora was sold and new ownership/ management basically let go of 90% of the amazing people that worked there or they quit. I don’t blame them. When we came back it was a much more cold atmosphere and nobody attempted to get to know us except for Al who remembered us after a year! and the other guy in Valet who was there from the year before. The food quality was WAY worse and left much to be desired. The thanksgiving dinner was just a huge waste of money and the rooftop bartender was a jerk to us. It is with deep sadness that our experience was diminished because of a corporation doing what they do best, count numbers and devalue people and experience. We unfortunately won’t be coming back and that saddens me the most since this was a very special place for me and my wife. People matter more than anything else. You can’t quantify it on a spreadsheet. A message for the ownership group: You can write a reply to save face and make it look like you care like you have done with the other reviews, but if it keeps happening to people over the last year, then it’s not a couple of bad experiences, it’s now a pattern. Never forget about the people who made this hotel special and we hope that you will see what kind of impact this has had on us with this review. This was much more to us than some hotel. It was like a home away from home. Now, it’s just some hotel in Florida.
