The only restaurant i know on this planet to try to talk me feom eating at their restaurant. The place has only 6 tables and two had customers. Her explanation was, we have too many take outs tonight. What i ordered for apps was Vegetable Pakora. Dinner I ordered Palak Paneer, Yellow Dal and Lamb Curry. drinks was water and Coke The vegetable pakora and sauce were exceptional. The spice was slight and fried just right that you can taste the vegetable. Palak Panner, was creamy and the spinach was succulent and melted in my mouth. The panner was an indian white cheese and to me it was flavorless. Yellow Dal was just what i expected, using the naan it was bitterly good. The lamb curry was the most outstanding with rice. The curry could been more spicy yet that was my fault for not asking. By the way, the food was served by a robot! i need to return again to come up with more solid reviews because i eaten too much to remember the event.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. I eat here at least once a week. And could not more highly recommend them. They only do takeout for the most part or you have to call for reservation if you want to eat in. Vegetarian and vegan options are just incredible. You have to try Cafe masala.

Let me start by saying you have to try the place. Don’t just go off the reviews. Customer service really can make a place. The food was good and spicy which is what I like. They were so nice to me and I didn’t make and appointment. I didn’t know I was suppose to. Yes the food portions are small but yet take your time eating enjoy the food and have a glass of wine. I promise you won’t notice the portion, in fact I am taking a little home for left overs . Just try this place you won’t regret it.

This place has a pretty good lunch menu if you're looking for a more reasonable portion size. I've tried their chicken Tikka as well as the Palak paneer. I thought both were good, but the palak paneer was memorable because it was soo delicious. Their garlic naans are also really good. They're a tiny hit crispy, with a little bit of salt and tonnnns of garlic, just the way I like it!!

I've order pickup a number of times, it's always tasty. The owners are very kind and the place smells amazing.

I love coming to Cafe Masala for lunch! They have four options for lunch portions, I usually go for chicken tikka masala. It is the perfect portion. The tikka masala is flavorful and the chicken is super tender. I like their garlic naan too! It is fresh and crispy. The service is nice too! She always greets guests with a warm smile. It feels good to eat here!

Ordered through ubereats. One order of lamb Rogan Josh was $24 ($20 in restaurant price), which was very high especially considering the portion size. I called to ask for a side of the two different chutneys and a little drizzle of raita. All come standard with any meal at most Indian restaurants. The man who answered the phone said that it was $3 extra for each which would have been $9 extra for sauces that come for free at any Indian restaurant in the country. On top of the $24 he said he would see what he could do if I didn't want to drive there and pick it up myself (which defeats the point of ubereats lol) but that they had been in business for 40 years and never gave any chutney or raita with anything other than appetizers. Order arrived with one container of chutney the size of a thimble, but no raita or tamarind chutney. If this is how they've treated customers for 40 years, along with the high price and lack of flavor and spices in the food, I don't know how they've stayed in business. Will never get food from here again.

I went for the first time, what a great find. The food was fantastic and they are so kind! I did not take my cards thinking I could Apple Pay but they didn’t have their system set up that way. They let me walk away with the food and said I can return later to pay!! Madhu was extremely nice about it. Thank you!

We got a to go order. What I got tasted like a can of cambell’s soup over rice. No flavor, a small portion and it was $18. My husband also did not like his chicken tikka masala. Way over priced.

I can’t remember her name but I believe she’s the owner, she was very sweet and tended to us my families entire dinner. The food was great, and the decorations really gave off a beautiful Indian vibe.

Cozy place to visit, service was amazing but portions are very small considering the price point and flavor was lacking. I was disappointed to spend $30 and have to come home and eat because I’m still hungry.
