First time in St. petes and my friends brought me here for dinner. I was blown away by the creativity of the dishes. I love spanish/latin tapas and this was a perfect mix of both. ALSO, THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST SANGRIA I’VE EVER TRIED!!!

Amazing place for dinner or brunch! Food is delicious (we tried majority of the menu) and drinks are good. Never a long wait, good service.Favorite items: Lamb, croquetas and espresso chocolate tres leche.

This place never disappoints me. From the location, waitresses and waiters are highly trained. food is always good. My favorite is all the faelas and their beets salad. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes appetizer size food.

Food, service, and atmosphere were phenomenal. This was our first time checking out downtown and took a chance to take advantage of the happy hour at the bar. I will tell you that they did not disappoint! I had the ceviche and my husband had the meatballs. We were both very impressed. We will be back!

The service was excellent and food taste was delicious and good flavor. Food presentation was great also. We order like 4 tapas and the churros. My only critique would be the devil eggs. I was expecting more chorizo flavor. But besides tjat everything was awesome.

Really loved this place. I have never had ceviche or tapas all was amazing. Great Sangria! Our waitress Sam was so kind and gave teriffic recommendations! We had all of her favorites and it was amazing. Sangria came without ice in a large picture so that was a plus as it didn't get watered down unlike other places where the ice is served in the picture. The decor was nice.

My wife and I decided to spend a day together before my week-long trip, and we chose to visit Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant due to the high reviews it had received. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had expected.Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess gave us an unwelcoming vibe, as if she disliked her job and was unhappy to see us. The restaurant was fairly uncrowded at the time, but she proceeded to seat us at a cramped, stuffy table right next to the entrance. When we requested to be moved to another table, she seemed unimpressed and annoyed. Instead of seating us at a more spacious table in the middle or further back of the room, she placed us at a small table sandwiched between two large parties along the side wall.As for the food, we ordered Papa's Fritas, Spanish pork ribs, Chuletas de Cordero, and Patatas Bravas. The Chuletas de Cordero was well-cooked but very under-seasoned, requiring more salt. The Spanish pork ribs had a good flavor but were dry. The Patatas Bravas were bland and lacked seasoning, while the Papa's Fritas were the only dish we genuinely enjoyed. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was meant to be relaxed and casual, but the hostess's demeanor and our poor seating arrangement ruined the vibe for both my wife and me. Although we had high hopes for Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant, our experience was disappointing, and we are unlikely to return in the future.

Dishes are extremely hit or miss and the bar runs slow. The ceviche it’s self was phenomenal. The other dishes we tried were okay. Interesting experience but nothing made you stop and savor.

Customer service is resistant, food is mediocre, if you have food allergies or sensitivities… beware, most the staff is uneducated, sloppy and lazy .. Good chance you will land a msg headache or gastrointestinal distress… Management should take allergies and food sensitivities more seriously… perhaps create an ingredient list for each menu item… consumers (patrons) with food sensitivities know exactly what triggers them… this list will assist them in choosing while dining at Ceviche…

I was looking for the Irish pub, just to find out it was converted to this amazing tapas place 2 years ago. I was kind of surprised with small no of reviews. I decided to give them a chance and try their tapas, compare it to what I just had in Europe few weeks ago. We did not order many plates as we were not tag very hungry, but we ordered the ceviche, potatoes plate, octopus and bread with basil. I have to say the food was super good and very delicious. I would 100% come back again and I highly suggest this place.

Top quality food here! Came here through a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. The ceviche was so good! We also had the patatas bravas, croquettes, meatballs and shrimp. All really amazing but you need to get the patatas bravas and the meatballs. They were our two stand outs.Lovely location as well, lots going on - on that street. Would come back.

Bud is a wonderful server! He helped us choose great plates for lunch. We loved all the dishes we ordered. Brussel sprouts, potatoes, tuna tartar, crudo, spare ribs, meatballs, manchego, and rellenos, skirt steak was amazing. The cheesecake and chocolate tres leches were the perfect sweet ending.

House ceviche was delicious ! Skirt steak very good , good value as well . Oysters were the only item we were dissatisfied with. Skip them and go for the house ceviche Will definitely return

I had my first experience at Ceviche tonight, and I am so happy I did.Upon arrival we were seated with Jarrod, who quickly greeted us. He made some phenomenal recommendations. We started with two cocktails: the Pepino (tequila, cucumber and jalapeño) & the Siete (a vanilla vodka craft cocktail). The pepino was Jarrod’s recommendation and he was spot on!We first ordered the oysters on the half shell, the bread with basil oil, and the ahi tuna ceviche. The ceviche was perfectly acidic while the oysters came with a tasty gazpacho mignonette. I just missed some heat.Next were more of Jarrod’s fantastic recommendations: the Manchego croquettes (insanely good!!!!), the buttery textured Branzino (with a fantastic crispy skin with greens and capers), and the brussel sprouts which we ordered on our own. They were slightly sweet and lightly charred.Next we had an a la carte order of the drunken goat cheese with a red wine rind and it was fantastic, as well as Jarrod’s recommendation of the fantastic and tender, flavorful lamb chops with an order of the sherry mushrooms. Again, both items were exquisite. We ordered two more drinks, the Damm beer from Barcelona and the Primera Red Sangria which was sweet but balanced. And finally, cheesecake (sheer perfection) and the traditional tres leches cake which was firm enough to maintain its texture yet moist enough to melt in your mouth. Our experience was 5 starts. Highly recommend Jarrod’s service and the cuisine. So happy to have chosen this for tonight’s dinner!
