Went in for some dim sum and ordered some food off the menu, they came by 1 time with the cart and that was it. Service sucks, they want you to beg for the dim sum cart. After telling them I want the cart 2 times, they never came. Will never come here agian.

Service was very nice but the flavors weren't what we were looking for. The fried rice was only chicken and rice it seemed like. I was hoping for more..

They have plenty of options for both food and drink, which is a wonderful thing. Food is delicious and fresh. The waitstaff is attentive and experienced, and the pho is above average. Lunchtime crowds can be a little rowdy, but there's a good reason this place is well-liked. Overall, a wonderful experience; I'll definitely be returning.

I wasn’t feeling well so my boyfriend picked up some egg drop soup to go. Delicious and always makes me feel better.

Been here a dozen times and the staff could not care less if I live or die . It’s almost as if I’m an annoyance in the restaurant. I asked for a few basic items, parking off on the prefix printed menu, and then I’ll eat my food. I am then forgotten for at least an hour. When I asked for my check, it’s almost as if I am inconveniencing them. The bathrooms are dirty. The staff is mean. The food is dim sum, but mediocre. I could almost get the same quality from Walmart.

I finally had dim sum in St Pete! We came here because of recommendations from friends and it did not disappoint! I loved everything in the steamed baskets: we had shrimp dumplings, minced pork, and spare ribs. We thoroughly enjoyed the rice flour texture of the minced pork, I've never had it before but it was delightful. We ordered house fried rice as well, which paired nicely with everything. The price is good for the serving you get, and we were super full with a bag for takeout (probably a couple more meals since we barely touched the duck since it was served last) for less than $50. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall dining area was comfortable with multiple booths. We're coming back, probably soon. Likely soon.

Located in a strip mall in Pinelas Park, Halong Bay is definitely the best dimsum restaurant in the Tampa Bay Area. It was our first visit here and we were entertained by the dragon show as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations. They still use the “push carts” when they serve their dim sum so you can easily see what they look like. I was impressed by fairly good variety. The servings were big. Aside from dim sum, they also serve Chinese and Vietnamese foods. We ordered 2 different kind as of tripe, chicken feet, shrimp balls, roasted duck, stuffed egg plant and water spinach. They have the best sesame balls- inside was full of delicious stuffing. It is definitely worth crossing the bridge from Tampa to have dim sum here again.

My friend was visiting for the wknd and she loves dim sum so based on other reviews I knew we had to come here. Arrived on a Sat at around 10:45am and were seated right away and it got busier as we were there, but there was already a good crowd when we arrived. They have the cart service so you are fed quickly. Many choices and all taste fresh. We tried crab balls, shrimp dumplings, footballs (crunchy outside with bbq pork), crunchy rice, steam buns, veggies and salt & pepper calamari ( probably forgetting a few things - oh ya, eggrolls). We took 3 boxes to go with leftovers. The unsweet tea is tasty! They have an assortment of sauces on each table. I will be back. Enjoy!
