A St. Pete institution with outstanding food, good service, and a slightly elevated and very relaxed Florida vibe. In the early 2000s Florida Gold and some of the best fries I know were lunch almost every Friday. Jalapeno poppers (and a beer) are my favorite snacks in town.

Lived in the St Pete area, for over 30 years... Moved to Tampa 4 years ago.. Had a beautiful day fishing at Ft Desoto.. Told my new boyfriend,,Google best fish sandwich in St. pete. Guess who was in the top three??I was so excited, to share this place with my new love.. Only to be so let down.. Our server was Grant, he was great. But the food was so disappointing.. the onion rings no seasoning.. the grouper sandwich was so small ( like 3 fish nuggets blackened between 2 buns) Not even spicy, highly recommend Old Bay or Everglade seasoning.. I ordered the Florida gold, again so tasteless.. Not sure what happened to you guys, but definitely sad tonight...?

Thursday night was Noisy with full crowd. Not great place for intimate conversations. LolAbsolutely the best Reuben I have had since my mother died 36 years ago!! Had them leave off the Thousand Island and used horseradish sauce instead. Corned beef was really tender. Delicious!Potato salad was excellent also!

First time at Harvey’s on fourth in St. Pete’s. We are always in Search of the best grouper sandwich and this came up first after a search on Yelp. Market price was $20 for grouper sandwich and side choice of fries, potatoe salad, or Cole slaw. I guess you can’t find a grouper sandwich anymore for less than $20 in Florida. Of all the places I’ve tried in Florida thus far this is my favorite. The size was more generous than most although I would like a little more. It was made well and came with tomatoe, lettuce and pickle. The potatoe salad I chose was excellent and a hefty portion. The wait was long but considering it was St. Patties weekend and the place was full it was expected. Service was ok as we had to ask for water refills but again they were swamped. We will go back to try some of the other dishes. The bar looked inviting as well.

There's nothing like a trip to Harvey's. We know what we like, everything, we only have to decide what we're in the mood for. The service was quick and accommodating. The food was as delicious as always. I never get tired of seeing the decor on the walls, the atmosphere is friendly and fun. One of my favorite places for the past 30 some years.

It seemed like a nice place for lunch. But it was a fiasco. I asked for The Seafood Platter... To begin with, the soda I ordered had no taste. The silverwares were dirty. The table looked poorly prepared for a customer. when my food arrived, it looked sad, dry, unfunny, disheveled, with the worst presentation ever seen. the taste was a horrible experience. I asked to pay with the phone, and they still don't have the NFC service to pay. The receipt was wet, and the waitress insisted several times, pointing her finger in the wet the tip. I didn't want to look rude, so I left a few dollars for the worst service in the restaurant. I decided to put that meal to take, and I went to wash my hands in the bathroom. They had no paper to dry their hands, the floor was dirty, and no privacy. I'll never go back to this place. And I don't recommend it. It goes without saying that what little I tasted of disastrous food, I was indisposed from my stomach for the rest of the day.
