Went a few years ago, food was delicious (not as delicious as if in Germany though) and staff were friendly but very busy. Go for the experience and awesome chanting customers do when riled up.

Very excited to visit this establishment in all their German glory. Atmosphere was very open like sitting in a public town square, sitting on benches with long tables. The ceiling was painted like a blue sky with fluffy clouds so you really felt you were outside, except it was very loud.

We made reservations and they confirmed them,we showed to find locked doors along with a few other people,we had six people in ou4 group which they were coming from an hour away.found a Greek restaurant instead.

The food is pretty good although not mind-blowing, the prices are acceptable and the ambiance is great for groups but way less intimate for date nights. The parking situation is pretty poor so keep that in mind with most downtown locations.

Wanted to love the Hofbrauhaus, but the food was just so-so. Last time we went, they ended up charging a wrong amount on my credit card AFTER we left. Someone added more tip money to my card charge than what I had signed. Tried calling them to resolve this but was never able to reach a live human being to make a request. Fellow diners, please watch your final credit card billing after dining here... especially in light of their financial woes. Prost!

First time here. Parking is an issue at times, but worth the visit. The wait isn't bad, but if you have a large party I'd recommend making reservations. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Now the food!!!! This is the best I've had in about fifteen years. They are very accommodating with the menu and if your not sure just ask. Wait staff is very knowledgeable. Old country style environment. Definitely on my top list of restaurants in the area. Great job!!!!

Excellent atmosphere great food and beer. Good service it was a little busy so I will be honest service could have been better however dealing with that many people I understand things happen. But nothing big just minor stuff. I definitely recommend it and look forward to going back for more!

Big place and friendly, helpful staff. Really does remind me of places my parents went when I was a kid. Food was very good..portions were OK, but any variations were an upcharge. The Lager was cold, and enjoyed the atmosphere!

Very cool building inside and decor. Famous for the ethnic German feel. Wait staff was friendly. Food was good. Many sizes of beer. Only complaint was the bathrooms, women's floor was very slippery and men's room had many issues. One stall had no Tp, other toilet was broken, 3rd for latch was missing, and soap dispenser was ripped off wall and broken. If in the area I would give it a second chance.
