New owners of this restaurant will drive this, once amazing place, to the ground. Food is terrible now. I'm not even sure they let the oil get hot when cooking. Crispy pork intestines were soggy, panfried noodle; soggy, snow pea tips, undercooked and old (extremely stringy and chewy), scallops were overcooked to the point where my brother said it looked like a lychee fruit covered in noodle, also the scallops weren't cleaned all the way, very gritty with sand. Good Luck ABC, get some actual chefs or you guys will be gone by the end of the year. Sorry for the harsh review but, my family has been coming here for over 20 years, the previous location and when they moved to this location. I know the difference in food quality and I know others will as well.

Great authentic Hong Kong style food, not the "New York" style. Tastes like the old ABC food we had years ago before ownership

Service-Very nice lady took my to-go order. Ambiance-It was a quaint little place. Not a lot of fluff, which could detract ur attention from the taste of the food. Food-Ordered Crispy spring rolls, Szechuan chicken, and Chinese broccoli and chicken. Both dishes were very good. Was like the crappy pieces of chicken like you get from some restaurants. Had lots of vegetables. The spring rolls were small and creosote. They give you 4 in an order and I thought they were going to be huge but no. So that was nice. Oh, and also had unsweetened iced tea. Lady was kind enough to give me refills while waiting for my to-go order. And this is always a good sign, when you have a bunch of customers who are also Chinese, then you know it must be fairly authentic. Check the place out.

I believe this restaurant is a wannabe asian restaurant. The severs ask you how you like your food. Hmmmmm cooked and not winking at me??? I go to an Asian restaurant because I have no idea how to make good Asian food. I rely on the restaurant to serve me authentic food. Try it and see but I will not be going back. Very disappointed in the bone ribs.

The owners of ABC Chinese Restaurant on 54th Ave North have relocated to Lucky Star. It's as good as it ever was. (The current ABC, still on 54th is NOT worth the trip).

Lucky Star Chinese Restaurant is located in Tyrone, and the food is pretty authentic for Chinese food. There is a private parking lot with plenty of spaces. The restaurant seating and the menu options are vast, easily over 30 for both. They also have vegetable options. The ambiance of the restaurant is like a family-style meet-up. The restaurant is brightly lit, and the noise level was below average when I visited for dinner. FOOD: 1. Peking Duck (4/5): You can't go wrong with Peking duck. The main roasted duck pieces were not dry. There's also the crispy skin pieces served in this. You can ask for more of the steamed buns if you run out. 2. Snow Pea Leaves with Garlic (3/5): I recommend this for a vegetable side dish. It goes along with the other dishes effortlessly. It is typically in Asian cuisine, and the green leaves have a slightly sweet flavor. 3. Spicy Eggplant (4/5): This dish was likely the favorite of the five for all of us. The flavor was perfect. 4. Singapore Noodles (3/5): It is a stir-fried vermicelli, curry powder, vegetables, scrambled eggs, and chicken/shrimp. It was my first time trying this dish. I thought it was OK. 5. Grilled Flounder with Garlic Sauce (4/5): The bones are present. The dish was overall good, but I've tried better. A touch of flavor was missing in the garlic sauce. The service was good. No complaints. Our server was friendly and accommodating. Our water never touched the bottom, as they checked on the table in a timely fashion. Would I come back? Yes.

Everything was terrible. General tso, rice, egg roll, wonton soup and crispy noodles were all the worse I've ever had. I hope we don't get sick from eating this.
