Waited for almost an hour for my DoorDash delivery to have them cancel after two different drivers showed up. Will never try ordering from this crummy place again.

The food is most delicious and priced so cheap. It is a mainstay of my visits to St. Pete.

Maybe we came on a bad day. Not really impressed with anything here. Pork was pretty bland. Rice was crunchy. I'll try again next time. Very friendly people working here though... apologetic and accommodating when they ran out of an item.

The Cuban - not good. Not pressed much. Even asked ‘extra-well pressed’. Very disappointing. Won’t be back.

Disappointed! My salad was missing the olives and the eggs! I paid $10 for a salad that was incomplete. I had to wait almost 30 minutes! No happy

I love the flavors in Cuban food so I went out of my way to stop at Pipos. The tiny rustic cafe has a few tables inside and a couple outside. A glassed-off counter separates the kitchen from the diners. A variety of dishes are displayed in large metal pans and sandwiches are prepped nearby. Pipo's has the Cuban standards like lechon, ropa vieja and picadillo as well as a daily special. Prices for an entree and two sides are 10-11 bucks. I went with masitas (fried pork), a dish I don't see often enough and added black beans with rice and a few maduros (sweet plaintains). The total came to just under $13. Sadly the meal was a disappointment. The masitas had way too much fat. The pieces of pork were tough and flavorless. The black beans also lacked flavor. The plaintains were good and saved the meal from being a total bust I don't know if I went on a bad day or picked the wrong dish. The place was busy and other diners seemed happy. Just not me.

The waitress explained their breakfast menu to me and was very friendly. I ended up getting the breakfast bowl with chorizo and a side of plantains. Service was quick and it was super tasty! Got sit outside too which was nice.

Phenomenal! Rustic cozy cafe. Great food, fantastic cafe con leche and even better people - Maya is the sweetest...best customer service I've ever encountered

Fabulous latin food!!!! So much flavor! Bring one to Bradenton/Sarasota please. We don't have anything like this over there. ANDDDD Maya I believe that's how it's spelled, she was so kind and sweet!

I work in downtown Saint Pete and don't always have time to go sit someplace and wait for a meal, even if I order it to go. Whenever I stop in here the staff is always on the rush and know that you are here to pick up something to go. I can't say enough good things about the food it's prepared daily and always five star quality. I had a few extra questions today and Maya helped me out, it's just lunch but I'm not familiar with the cuisine and found it to be very helpful plus I learned a little bit too

I really like this place. I live close by so I come here a lot, and never disappointed. Their dinner is flavorful, and the portions are nice. The price is always fair. The croquetas are always fresh and really good! My favorite reason to come is honestly because their breakfast is unbeatable.
