The one rib is a bit fatter but shorter than my index finger. One is the size of my pinky, then three fatter, but not long ribs. You get two sides as well. I had a tiny container of green beans and cole slaw too. UPDATE: Saw the reply to my review and emailed them that day. No response yet as of 1/19/2023.

The food came out really fast, as in every thing is pre-made earlier and they just warm it up and put it in a plate. The appetizers were good, dinner was pretty good. There was plenty of sitting at 6:30 on a Tuesday night.Wanted to know how much the bottles of sauce were and we had to wait for the take-out person to tell us. They had to look it up on the register; there was no price on the sign that offered the sauces.

I used to like getting take out from this location because the barbecue was better than the others in my area but the attention to detail has greatly dropped off in recent years. Before, the corn always came on the cob in a separate styrofoam container but now it comes in a cup. The ribs don’t have as much meat on them anymore and the cornbreads are way smaller than they used to be. The service is great and the food is always packaged with care but I miss that attention to detail in the food like they used to have.

My friend and I dined in tonight at this Sonny’s and while our waitress, Lauren, was amazing and her service impeccable, the chicken and pulled pork I had were the driest I’ve ever had in my 23 years of living. The brisket was also not much better, unfortunately. The baked beans were good, the macaroni and cheese was passable, and so were the ribs I had, but the chicken and pulled pork were inedibly dry.Giving 3 stars because the service from our waitress Lauren was great.

I prefer the Pinellas Park location, I've found they're a bit less busy. But if I need a pulled pork sandwich, like, desperately, it'll do. As I've said a million times, Sonny's is probably one of the best big bbq chains.

We've been going here since June this year (2022). I never eat meat in a restaurant, all I ever get is fat. Grosses me out. But the first time here I ordered the sliced "lean" brisket and I barely cut off any fat. We kept coming back as it is delicious. Happy with the food. Service is always a little flaky. Nice servers, yet make mistakes, appear to have nobody to lead them, apologize too much, but truly don’t know what they are doing sometimes. Every table around us today had issues with orders and checks with multiple servers. The servers work much harder to fix things than get it right first. A manager has never come out to say anything to anybody. That is where the buck stops. It is not the nervous untrained servers doing their best to stay nice when every other contact from a guest is about something wrong. It falls on the managers who get paid well to make sure that does not happen. But it does happen here, and they are definitely responsible. Today it was “Star”, a manager who I have never seen, especially today, but as a manager they were apparently even worse. We got our check today and it was a nice record of everything that went wrong, but at the end of the meal we were charged for every mistake and even an extra surprise side corn. The table next to us had issues with their check too. Our last time here as well. And when the charge came out of the bank it was $6.00 more that I entered into my computer that night like a zero was rang up a six. We tip very well, even that day with an extra five bucks’ cash to another server who brought me a beer when I was waiting and parched. We appreciate the hard work everyone does so we can be lazy, sit and eat at a table and go home. Today I pointed out the check errors to our server, and she said she needed her manager to make changes. 15 minutes later she said the manager had to “finish training a new server” before she would fix the check. We seriously wanted to walk out. “Star”, I would fire you right now if I owned that business. I took photos of my signed check today and I will for a while. Great food, but what a total mess delivering the tasty food. Not just the guests rolling their eyes and never coming back, it is the stress and frustration of the poor workers who try to do their best with what they have to work with. Are there no real leaders at Sonny’s during lunch time? We walked in one day in July and another server who brought our drinks apologized even before taking our orders that they might not be able to come by much with three other tables. And they were correct. UGH

We went Saturday, we got handicap parking at front door. We got a great table with an awesome young waiter, Chris. He has a warm personality to beautiful smile. Chris has Impeccable timing and service ability. He is a model of leadership and passion to fashion. He should be shift leader onto management. Ribs, chicken, pork was extremely good. Definitely my new favorite rib place!!!My mom and I just arrived on Sat, June 11 30mins before closing.We couldn’t be welcomed warmer!The waitress (I feel so sorry that I forgot her name?) was amazing! So friendly, nice and she took very good care of us! We ordered the BabyBack ribs, the St. Louis Ribs and some Cole Slaw. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was really fast and the prices are reasonable!We will definitely come back!❤️
