I like the burger and fries better than most other chains. Recent changes where you now place your order in a kiosk then sit till someone calls your name, get up to get your food, get your own drinks after scanning a code.... it is efficient but impersonal. seeing the old pictures of how it used to be. wait staff, crowds, it felt sad.

Sunday night stop looking for a milkshake to go. My boyfriend’s hamburger and fries were ready quick. I guess you have to be patient for the milkshake. They were busy and still friendly.

I like the automated screens. The self-order works better than most places.You need a bar code every time you refill a drink. You get one when you pay and one when your order comes and after that you have to wave your arms and hope someone pays attention to you.No more pepper sauce so maybe I didn't like the chili ad much as I thought.Can't sit at the counter.The place has a lifeless vibe like a truck stop Arby's as a result of ditching servers.
New location has stepped up their game, awesome smash burgers with good shoestring fries, and Nutella shake is nice ?

Food had been sitting around. Double Butter Burger was DRY & very small. Fries were limp & old. Strawberry shake was a creepy color, tasted less natural than Strawb Quik.There’s no way they are still hand-dipped. No whipped cream, no cherry.Been a customer for 30 yrs; don’t think I’ll ever return.Over $12 for a dinky burger, less than a cup of sad old fries & a chemical shake.I don’t know who’s writing these glowing reviews, Stk n Shake is now a sad shadow of its former self.
