I stopped in for a late morning coffee, and I had a lox bagel, which was perfectly made, generously stacked with very fresh ingredients. Service was excellent and prompt. I sat outside and enjoyed the peacefulness of the moment. The restroom was appropriately clean. Parking is plentiful. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place.

The staff is nice but every single time I have been I have had my order messed up which is really frustrating when you don’t realize until your back at your desk or you don’t have time to have them redo it. And it’s like I’m ordering the most basic menu items so it’s especially annoying. If you only have a quick lunch break I would skip this as a spot, it’s just not reliably good.

What a gem of a spot tucked away near the Dali Museum and Mahaffey theatre. Stopped by here before a show at the theatre on a whim and stoked we did! The ambiance was laid back with a live music group playing/getting ready to start playing again on an open patio with some good seating for the band and others away from the band but still good seating. A pretty chill and nice atmosphere. Read up on other reviews about the fish sandwich (grouper crusted in almond and corn flakes?!) and how it was one of the best around and after getting it...I couldn't agree more. For the price (I believe $14) it was the cheapest grouper sandwich I've been able to get and also one of the largest. The sides are an up charge which is a little unfortunate but no biggie. Ended up getting Cole slaw which was not as great as the grouper but not bad either. A decent selection of beers on tap and in the frosted at the entrance and other drink options for the non-beer and non-alcohol drinkers. Other menu items looked delectable but am beyond happy with the grouper. I would def love to come back to enjoy the music and sip on a beer and try a different menu item in the future!

I can't believe I returned to this place after the last time I experience poor quality of food and service. The staff are very cold and bias and twice the last time being this past Monday their infamous crunchy grouper sandwich was lacking... where's the grouper to go with the crunchy batter... more like crunchy sandwich without the grouper. Truthfully I only returned because I work on campus and my husband loves the blackened chicken sandwich I've never had it so I can't tell you if it's any good and my husband loves plain cheese burgers (only cheese and meat) his palate isn't very enriched as mine I love him but he's a plain joe shmoe. I told him he will have to go get his sandwich himself I won't be returning to this run down hut. 40yrs with only 499 reviews... please get over yourself. Like I said I work at the school you're only proving my point of course their nice to the person responsible for there employment and writing their checks. Please being educated and young doesn't equate to being a nice let alone a smart or professional person, you either are or you are not which is why it adds up as to why they are thriving among your toxic establishment. Your response further proves my point.

We started our running club here at 7 pm on Tuesday nights. Great atmosphere, live music at time and best grouper sandwich in town at a good price.

Microwaved nachos, and my steak sandwich tasted burnt although it really wasn't, it tasted more like the grill hadn't been cleaned for a while. It was flavorless, not even salt or pepper. I don't like leaving bad reviews but the microwaved nachos did it.
