“I’m a foodie…but this restaurant shocked me. It’s in Debary, not Italy - and you don’t need a passport. What you will need is an appreciation of gourmet offerings, giant portions and the most amazing freshly hard baked ciabatta. Well baked perfection. For the bread alone I would drive an hour!I had the Sunday dinner for lunch and will be eating my leftovers for two days. Al dante rigatoni piled high with stewed red sauce, basil leaves, italian sausage and the star of the show: giant 2” pull apart tender chunks of love. I informed Aldo I’m going to be eating with him a lot (and bringing friends). He was down a server at lunch so working as a one man show and delivered omg. Be patient like I was - it’s not a chain it’s a perfect small kitchen with a single amazing Italian Chef. One bite and you’ll get it in a BIG way.“
“We loved everything! The pancakes are HUGEThe traditional eggs Benedict are very good, as are the potatoes that accompany them. The Benedict with roast beef, we didn't expect the meat to be in cubes but in pieces but still very delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. The service is fast.To come back!“
“Very few items were non dairy. The green beans had been delicious on a previous visit but this time they were so hard no one ate them.Dietary restrictions: A dairy free menu would be helpful, especially for the poor waitress who had to run to the chef with our questions.“
