I went into the Basin to pick up a meal for my brother and I. In the two minutes I was inside (not my first time as a patron) I was followed into the parking lot by a bartender. They attempted to bait me into an argument by verbally accosting me, and made a scene on their patio. I proceeded to leave rather than get into an argument with an adult with the social graces of a middle schooler. I never ordered a drink, or stepped foot into the bar area. I’ve witnessed similar deplorable behavior from the bar staff at the Basin, and would never recommend anyone spend their time or money here. I’m genuinely flabbergasted that the employees are supported in this behavior by their managerial staff. Such a disappointment for the city of Sanford, and the community they’ve created.
