Had been a while, maybe a couple of years, since I'd been, but I definitely won't make that mistake again. Every single thing ordered was on point. Sleepy little gem in Sanford serving elevated takes on Southern favorites. Came for a late dinner (9 p.m.) and ordered our way through small plates tapas style. Every single thing was lovingly and expertly prepared. One incredible standout was the Tomato Mac. When it was brought to the table, I thought it looked like it would be a little bland and watery, but OMG, the flavors and texture in this dish were incredible - a sweet and savory delight. Another standout was the chicken liver mousse. Chef's kiss! Also worked our way through hoecakes and the sticky ribs - the meat of which just fell off the bone. They were expertly trimmed and the Asian inspired glaze was to die for. Also sampled the cheddar jalapeno biscuits and the mushroom angolotti - all delicious. For dessert (all made in house), the cornmeal pie was to die for. Also had the smoked salted caramel ice cream, which was quite unique and inventive, as were the biscuits and chocolate "gravy."Even though the staff and kitchen were surely ready to wind down close to closing, we received excellent and gracious service and everything continued to be executed with great care and skill.I will definitely be sure to visit much more often! Compliments to the owners and staff!

One of the BEST restaurants in central Florida!! Every meal we've had here has been excellent. They serve elevated farm to table southern cuisine and they do it better than anyone else in the game. We always bring out of towners here when we want to impress them. It's located right on the edge of downtown Sanford in a really cute part of town. Perfect place to have a big meal and then walk around downtown Sanford. It's a small place so definitely call to make a reservation. They are only open Thursday-Sunday. We heard the chef spends the other days sourcing ingredients from local farms and vendors!

Authentic Southern Food. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. My whole family enjoyed it. The biscuits and gravy are the best!

A gem in Sanford. The choices are great. We had the shrimp and grits and the seared salmon - both were spectacular! Our other guest was a vegetarian - no choices on the menu - not to worry the chef Nat Russell prepared one with items on hand. We all tried it and it was the highlight of the night. Sanford you're lucky to have this restaurant and we cannot wait to be back.

A great example of a chef and their team focusing on doing a few things exceptionally well! It's a small, cozy place, so be sure to get your reservations in ahead of time. The appetizers were delicious and for entrees, we had the lamb chops, seared salmon, shrimp & grits, and the special red snapper. All were excellent and we can't wait to be back!

This place is I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!!! The food is top-notch, absolutely delicious, and very creative. I think the prices are exactly on point for what you are getting. The chef came out to talk to us and was genuinely making sure we had a great dining experience. Highly recommend checking them out, especially if you're a foodie!

We had reservations for a group of 16 for brunch on a Saturday morning. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were too large of a group for all the meals to come out of the kitchen at the same time and the entire party ordered just about everything different option on the menu. The chef and his small team sent items to the tables in batches. As food came out hot we had a blast passing everything around. Unique twists on classic southern foods that did not disappoint.
