Just moved to the area and decided to have lunch at Yabi, as it was highly recommended by our apartment staff. Walk in, first impression positive, order and ask about soup instead of salad only to be told just salad. Look over to the two girls eating the same special, and enjoying soup. Salad arrives, just lettuce and dressing, alright. Ask server if it's just lettuce and dressing and she says it has carrots and cabbage. None to be found, ask if we can have soup instead, NOW we can have soup. Soup was yummy, more onion flavor than usual for a clear soup. Sushi rolls come out, as well as my partner's hibachi, seems fine. Shrimp tempura roll unknowingly has cream cheese in it, take a bite, and find out. Crap. I have a dairy allergy. We wait for what feels like five minutes while our server focuses on cleaning the other table and not assisting us, or eating her own food with the staff, and then inform her that I have an allergy. She then takes the ENTIRE plate from me while I'm eating to show the chef. The chef then takes the rolls off and gives my plate back. I inform the server that I ate one before knowing, and she laughs and says "okay". I immediately feel uncomfortable and want to leave. I walked out to my car and my boyfriend spoke with a manager, explaining the situation to him. He insists they must check the camera to see if she actually did laugh. Upon checking the camera, it's not clear, but apparently the guest's word on the situation isn't enough. Manager insists his boss needs to know and her job is jeopardy over it, my boyfriend just wants to leave and says he doesn't want to be here. Allergen wasn't taken seriously at all. This is becoming the norm as someone with an allergy dining on a regular basis and we need to be better. I now get to go into my high volume serving job this evening having an allergy attack. My mom always told me for years to try them and me and hubby did , wish I would've tried them earlier. Not expensive but offers a variety and the sushi is so fresh and great quality. The decor isn't the high end but it doesn't need to be, they are clean and the quality of the food is the focus. The sashimi dinner was my favorite and a must try, will get it again.

We ordered a whole bunch of food to go from Yabi. we got chicken hibachi dinner, some sushi rolls and order some appetizers to go with it. They gave us a good amount of edamame and the hibachi dinner with the sauce was amazing. My kids were huge fans.

Ordered on Uber eats. The sushi arrived fresh and tasty. The rolls have 8 pieces and are reasonably priced for what you get. Highly recommend the Krab Rangoon roll, that was my favorite.

Since I found Yabi last year it has become my go to sushi spot. The rolls are always fresh and tasty. My wife and I have probably tried every roll and never had a bad one. We order them from Uber eats and its always quick and fresh! IF you have tried Yabi make sure you do.
