The BEST TUNA DIP of any I’ve ever had! I will eat it every day we’re here. No other even compares.

We stumbled upon the new “Boardwalk Bar” addition on the back side of the Shrimp Shack while out searching for dinner and drinks one evening and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food (the Lobster roll, Mac-n-cheese and Royal Red Shrimp were excellent) and drinks. The location and atmosphere are great as well (you have Gulf views) but what really makes the place is the friendly staff, from the bartenders (Lily, Taylor, Lauren, Justin, Joey, Batia and Alli to name a few) to the managers (Kevin and Baron). Super friendly and accommodating folks who really take care of you ! It’ll be one of our “go to” places when making future trips down to Seaside. Simply put, a great place …..great atmosphere/food….. but even better people !!

Had an excellent cocktail there last night. All juices were FRESH and the cocktail was carefully prepared and well-balanced. Spectacular sunset view over the beach out back, so what are you waiting for?

We stopped here for lunch during a bike ride for fish tacos and gumbo. We both thought everything was great! The seating area facing the ocean was so beautiful. Our bartender and server were friendly and responsive. Mr. M said his gumbo was the best one so far on this trip; the fish and shrimp in the tacos was so fresh! The margaritas were well balanced. Yum. We will definitely be back.

We look forward to the lobster rolls every year! Love the new addition of the bar on the back. It’s great to now have a sit down option for ordering, and Lilly provided A+

Come for the Lobster Rolls -- and stay for the beautiful views and friendly service! You will love every element of the experience at Shrimp Shack. We really enjoyed our lunch in the sunshine during our visit from Texas.

Good shrimp, oysters, and slaw! You can get a quick snack. You can get a Lobster Roll for 30 bucks. Special is a Protein, side, and drink for 20!

My wife and I got the cold peel and eat shrimp, and the grilled grouper sandwich and slaw to split. Plenty of food for the two of us. The peel and eats were good. They had saltine cracked which is a must for me with peel and eats. The grilled grouper sandwich was also good. The slaw we didn't care much for. We like our slaw chopped up more with more mayonnaise and sweeter. Did it hurt out meal. Absolutely not. We finished off with key lime pie and that was ok as well. There is plenty of outside seating. Probably could get crowded during the busy season but today it was cool in the 50's so there was plenty of seats.

Adequate but pricey food. Central but boring location. Oysters were good and the lobster grilled cheese was good! Skip the tacos.

Mostly roll, not much lobster, and what was on there didn't taste like much..... If you think this place serves a good lobster roll you've clearly never had a good one. It wasn't worthy of a picture but I wish I would have taken one to post with this review because it was definitely a rip off.

A shrimp salad roll at the Shrimp Shack is one of my favorite meals on earth! Although I find Seaside overly crowded most of the year, I cannot stop myself from going here, as the food overrides the lack of parking or the business. The shrimp salad is perfectly salty and the bun is soft and pillowy. I usually pair it with a frozen lemonade after a long day at the beach, it just can't be beat! The service is fast, and the beach atmosphere is charming!

Food was just ok. Shrimp and fish tacos were over priced and not very flavorful. You even pay for the tap water. Very disappointing place.

Shrimp shack is okay. We stumbled upon the restaurant while strolling through Seaside. We ordered the grouper sandwich and peel and eat shrimps. The food came out relatively quickly, and was just "okay", nothing special (not worth the price in my opinion). The best part of the restaurant was the views of the beach if you sit outside.
