Finally a sandwich shoppe that knows how to make an Italian Sub. The best I have had. It reminds me of when I was a kid, we had an Italian Sub shoppe in our town. We would go there whenever we had enough money to get a sub. This is the best sandwich shoppe in town. Excellent! Incredible and Thank you. Can't wait to go there again for the meatball sub.

Thank God this place isn't close to my house otherwise I'd be here on the daily! Hands down the best Italian sub you will ever have! From the soft fresh bread with just the right amount of chew, made in house, to the salty cold cuts, mildly zesty sub sauce, pepperoncinis with just the right amount of sour, Fresh Soups and baked cookies. Amazing!

We love A’s!!!! Best bread in town. Not to mention a Sarasota staple. Everything is fresh and their sweet tea is banging! Staff is always friendly and it’s the same smiling faces. They know our order by heart when we walk in. Love that place.

The folks here are great. Steered me in the right direction when ordering and then called me after I picked up to let me know I left a valuable item! Super honest, kind people at this place. ❤️

Im 66 now and live in Lutz just north of Tampa. Go to Sarasota alot for family as most of us moved there from New Jersey. Have been going to A s since my high school days at Riverview. Still go to A s when down and its amazing that the sandwiches taste the same. Always get the italian and the bread is fantastic and the sandwich tastes like it did in the 70s. Glad some things never change. Great italian sub!

Unbelievable subs. Service was 20/10. Love this old place and hope it stays open another hundred years. Nearly impossible to find gems like this anymore. Skip jersey Mike's, save money, and eat local.
Very good sandwich. What is "Giant" here, is the normal size in the Midwest.

First time eating here, normally go right down the road to the Cork Screw Deli. The girl behind the counter very nice. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the visit. I ordered an Italian sub: soft store bought roll, very light on the meat, the meat which was suppose to be salami was a very cheap quality meat, I actually threw the meat away and ate a veggie sub. For 14.00 plus this was a complete waste of money and my time. My advice, just drive to the Cork Screw deli, all quality ingredients and fairly priced

Nice owner's, 80s feel , the sandwiches ? left lot to be desired . The cash vs credit amount tad extreme. The owners seemed like a Kool duo. Wish the food matched the vibe..

Very nice employees. Got the Italian sub. It was OK. I'm from the Northeast, so it was not the type of Italian sub made in my region. Sub was soggy and bread was very soft. $10.
