One of our worst meals in a long time. Kids food was beyond bland. Fries were cold and soggy. Salad lettuce was wilted and the bitters. Burger was not cooked right and clearly sat for a while. Absolutely our worst meal in a while.

Brussels sprouts were surprisingly good. The Parmesan truffle fries and lobster wontons were just okay.For entrees, we ordered the sweet potato gnocchi (very good- recommend!), scallops (very good- recommend!), skirt steak, ribeye, and the staff meal.The steak options were just okay. Not enough skirt steak to fill you up. I’m unsure why there are so many reviews on the skirt steak. Mediocre at best.STAFF MEAL DISAPPOINTMENT- I don’t know who the chef was that thought pasta and chicken was a good choice for a surprise recipe for the staff meal. Extremely disappointed. The staff meal is described as, “Ingredient-driven chef’s creation with whatever’s locally available. Just order it. Chef says you’ll love it.” …??? The waitress even said, “it’s a good one today…” HOW? It was a child’s meal. No flavor whatsoever. Nice to know the wheat for the pasta was locally available lol. Not a single creative idea on that plate. They should be disappointed in themselves for throwing together something so simple and saying you’ll love it.Parking: There is a parking garage around the corner that is free for the first two hours. It might fill up very fast on a Friday or Saturday night!There is street parking that may or may not be metered.

I wanted to order the swordfish but it came with potatoes so I asked if they could accommodate and give me vegetables instead of potatoes they said that the chef will not allow that color sort of substitution so we asked for our bill for our wine because due to dietary reasons we cannot have starch. Then the manager decided to come to the table and apologize saying that the chef will not accommodate those sort of requests and he does apologize and if there’s anything else we can get For us. I said yes vegetables instead of potatoes, they would rather have A table walk out instead of accommodating such a simple request . Oh and by the way over priced wine !30 dollar for two glas

Went here for my girlfriend’s birthday. They didn’t bring out a candle with her dessert and brought it out while we were still eating our dinner. Then I got the worst heart burn I’ve EVER had in my entire life from their pizza. The waitress was very nice but everything else wasnt.

We were there for happy hour and we order their flat bread ..it came on a half tortilla and for 7 dollar ..poorly done ..don't serve it ..that's ashamed..never coming
Busy location located in the heart of downtown. Lots of trucks and noise coming and going. Customer service was ok. We sat outside and our waitress only checked on us once. Although she was very polite, unfortunately she had tables inside, as well as outside. They should consider one or two wait staff dedicated to the outside dining. Food was overpriced and had no flavor. My son had the OMG burger and I had Boca cubano.

I'm so sorry I didn't think to take a picture of my sandwich - that would explain everything I'm about to write. Who remembers Buddig Packaged meats? Well, I had a taste for a French Dip & there it was on the menu. I asked if the meat was lean and the server said yes. Well. this was true, but it looked like packaged processed beef placed on the bread with no attempt to make it more appealing. I have to say it was a TURN OFF - I'm so sorry I didn't return it. The Au Jus was missing, I had to ask. Flavor wise, the bread was nice, the flavor was just okay, a bit salty but I couldn't get past the packaged look of the beef, which I had to remove 1/2 of it to eat. For a trendy downtown Sarasota restaurant and a $16.00 price, it just didn't hit the spot visually or even taste as it should.

Excellent food, nice ambience and great service! There were 4 of us and all of us really enjoyed our food. I had the short rib tacos and they weee fantastic!!! I will definitely be back, and very soon!

There was a lot of give and take at this place, landing me on four stars. The great parts... 1) the gluten free zucchini fries. I don't know the last time I had anything fried with my gluten free diet. It was such a treat and they were really good! 2) knowledge of our server on gluten free options. While there wasn't a gluten free specific menu, she did know her stuff which made my selections easy. She explained the zucchini fries are fried in rice oil separate from the normal friend things and coated in a rice flour. Win! 3) my poke tuna bowl. It came with a fair amount of tuna and everything was so fresh tasting. I liked the sweet chili sauce and was glad that was gluten free since I had to skip the soy sauce. The closer-to-3-stars things...1) my husbands burger was rated by him as just good, not great. 2) my husbands cocktail was also given a good, not great review by him. 3) wish my poke bowl would have had a base of nice shredded lettuce or something. While I loved most of the ingredients I wasn't a huge fan of the black rice. I would come once more and try some other dishes before deciding how repeatable this place is. But it was overall delish, nice outside seating area, and again I really appreciated our server's help with my dietary needs.
