The owners changed and so did the menu, quality and ingredients. They removed platters, cut back on variety of bagels. My everything bagel is not what it used to be. Bagel was either missing orvery light on the ingredients for an everything bagel. They used to run out of them by 10am. It was 12 so I was surprised they still had some. Now I know why.My last three breakfast sandwiches all had very hard bacon. Not sure if they changed brands or are cooking them differently, but they also have less cheese. It should have been a sign when the team was no longer there. Some had stayed from original owner to last owner. All new faces now. Sad to see a great business change, and not for better.

They haven’t been the same since the original owners were bought out. Bagels are completely different and the service is horrible. I waited over 30 minutes today, only for them to give me a wrong order. Mistakes happen and I get that. In this case it comes across very intentional because they knew they were out of a certain type of bagel but instead of checking with me on an alternative, they tried to sub it out with one that looked like it without saying anything. By the time I went to correct them, they didn’t have the type of bagel left in stock. This is a place my family and I get bagels at every week but after the decrease in quality of food and service I don’t plan on ever going back.

Use to be the best spot in town for a bagel. They are now under new management and might just be the worst spot in town to get a bagel. Quality went down the toilet. Bagels are not good the new owners use cheap nasty bacon on the sandwiches. Really really dissapointed and miss the old owners :(

Was such a fan of Brooklyn Bagels on Cattleman - went there today - won’t go back. New ownership - another company is making their bagels now. My bagel was hard and dry - just tossed it out. No more spinach bagel which was my favorite. Things change.

Be careful if you base your visit on reviews prior to July 2023. I was a weekly customer for over 3 years and loved everything. Now new ownership, new staff, new bagels. I gave it 3 visits but All has gone downhill fast. What a great neighborhood shop this used to be.

They have the best Nova bagels in town. My husband and I love, love, love them. I get mine on an everything bagel and he gets his on an onion bagel. The employees are very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Brooklyn Bagels and Deli on Beneva.

Just ordered, was overcharged, order was wrong and scrambled eggs way over cooked, home fries practically raw. This place used to be ok, went from mediocre to bad. There aren’t any better bagel shops so this place will survive despite itself but save yourself the hassle and grab some eggs and bagels at Publix.

Another great visit this week! Always fun seeing Lisa who has greeted me by name for the last four years! Little building renovations going on outside. But service and inside is amazing!Updated 6/24- I have not been to the store in a few months with the renovations going on outside, etc. I came at 10:35 today, and they needed more bagels, no Lisa and no regular staff. I asked the young man, and he said the team had changed, and so did the ownership. WOW! I returned around 11:45 to pick up my computer next door, and the store was closed. I spoke to a guy out front who is a regular on the weekends, and he said this happened to him last week, also. Incredible how things can go from good to bad so quickly.Well, I will be making new bagel arrangments.
Food is good, but a little disappointing when you order a Brooklyn tradition (1 egg, cheese, and your choice of protein) and it doesn’t come with the protein or the cheese. Rather it was just the bagel, one egg, and for some reason mayonnaise on only one half of the bagel. As a place that does a majority of to-go orders, it may be wise to double check that orders are correct before people leave and realize when they get home their order isn’t correct.

Kielbasa bagel sandwich was really fantastic even on a rye bagel. Why do both locations run out of everything bagels all of the time? Boyfriend’s chicken sandwich had no lettuce or tomato as described on the menu and they had also run out of chips. Cattlemen location turned off the phone but the wait for in person to go food was short. Best if you go before 10:00!

Went to get bagels at 8am and they haven’t even received their delivery yet. Clearly they changed their recipes and this blueberry bagel didn’t even look safe to eat. Went right in the trash. What a shame. What was once the BEST bagel shop in town is now unfortunately the WORSE. (Under new ownership).

After a long weekend of deleting light beer and premium tequila, the boys went to get some bagel sandies…These bagels are dynamite. I got Taylor Ham on a cheddar everything and it tasted like a space shuttle was landing on my tongue. Also having a cheddar variation of an everything bagel is such a flex. 5/5Thank you Brooklyn Bagels and Deli for bringing a slice of the big apple down to sunny RoTA. We’ll be back for more, and we’re getting cream cheese to go next time. Count on it. Period.
