Bushido is my favorite sushi spot in town, although a lot of other great ones have closed over the years bushido remains. Also one of the only spots that serves bluefin regularly, hard to find on this coast outside of Tampa and Miami.

We ordered the Win for Life Roll and the Fast and Furious Roll. They both have mayo/yogurt sauces on them and were drenched. I said sorry those are drenched, we would like to do more simple rolls. Winnie says “we don’t do tasting here.”Man, if there was ever a dumb thing to say that is highly insulting at a restaurant, that would be it. Neither Winny nor the manager knew how to handle this situation.I said I would like to do the Chenelleinstead. “Yes that has Ponzu”. Yea, I know it has ponzu bud, that’s why im ordering it because I can’t trust you guys with mayo/yogurt sauces.Quite a distasteful experience. First and last time we will try this place just based upon principle and an inability to communicate clearly and effectively when someone is unhappy with your sauce heavy hands.

This food was awful, I don’t consider myself a disrespectful person but the salmon tasted so old and gross I couldn’t hold it in my mouth long enough I had to spit it out and it was in front of the server because I just couldn’t take it. Im sorry but the vinegar they used in the rice was not for me; it’s so sour and was just ruining everything. The white sauce on one of my rolls was just straight up sour cream. I don’t know any places I can compare to in the area but I know you can’t pay me to comeback
Bushido Sushi SRQ is amazing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Winnie and Ivy are always so welcoming, kind and helpful. The food is incredible - literally everything we've ever tried has been fantastic (and it's probably been everything they offer by now). The Gyoza and Shumai are the best I have ever had. But, don't let the word get out - I like hidden gems all to myself!

First time visiting and was greeted warmly by Winnie. Our food was absolutely amazing, compliments to the chef. Fried oysters as an appetizer, definitely a must try.Then Teriyaki Roasted Duck (so tender) and Monster Roll both were really scrumptious! I would highly recommend to family and friends.Parking: It is a shared parking lot so first come first served.

Excellent fresh sushi and super nice wait staff! I ordered the Samurai roll, yellow tail sashimi and tobiko/masago. It was delicious! The green tea was fabulous, very traditional Japanese cuisine!

Great Sushi! Great service! The Curry Bao bun tasted amazing. Pleasantly spicy, chicken was tender, just enough sauce to soak up with the steamed bun. The calamari was light tender and crispy. The fast and furious roll was probably the table favorite while the out of control roll was a close second. Great flavor and texture combinations. The Bushido Genesis roll was not on the menu but our awesome server had it made for us. I wish I remembered her name. She was knowledgeable, attentive and very helpful. We will be returning.
