I don’t know what to tell you to avoid. We got food poisoning from dining at this restaurant. I don’t like dining in high tourist areas because standards are inconsistent. Diners beware. Poor quality

Very tasty classic Italian food. Pasta dishes and starters are particularly delicious. Be sure to try the Valentino cocktail.
It was jammed packed but the service was great and the food (pizza and pasta) were awesome. Reasonable prices and nice atmosphere.

Atmosphere- if you are inside, bring a pad and notepad, because that’s the only way you’re gonna be able to communicate. The acoustics are poor The noise makes it quite difficult to have a conversation.Food- we ordered a pizza, eggplant, and carpaccio. Carpaccio was very good, the pizza was cold, and when we sent it back, they returned it but I believe they actually put it in a microwave. The eggplant was tasty but cold. There are other great restaurants in the Sarasota area. Skip this one.Service - was just adequate. They did not have any idea on who got what entree, and our dirty plates sat on the table for quite a long time.

The food is bomb! I got the eggplant Parm and it was to die for. Very very good. Walking in the staff wasn't the nicest but they warmed up throughout the dinner. Even though they weren't the nicest they definitely were fast with brining out food, drinks, bread, and very attentive to our waters and having them filled constantly.
