GREAT food, GREAT service, GREAT atmosphere. First time here but this is now our go-to Italian restaurant. What a gem!

Was not busy at all. Staff not attentive, food was average and pricey, lasagna was not hot, very little sauce, bread was toasted too hard, was charged for extra bread. Would not go back. $94 for two people, no drinks, only water, one shared dessert.

Authentic Italian food- yes. Server was still learning and missed key cues to deliver excellence. The hidden extra costs is what drove my rating down. Asked for additional bread after being provided with two small toast points, a $3.50 charge was added, was offered pasta with my veal saltimbocca another $6.50 on top of a $30 entree. Also be warned of the sodium the entree would be better with 50% less manager blamed the prosciutto.

We were the only ones in the restaurant and as they were leading us to a table upstairs we asked if we could sit downstairs as we explained one of our party members has a disease that makes it hard to do stairs. The waitress asked the woman in charge who flat out said no. The pricing seemed reasonable until our meal arrived. There was a small piece of meat on a big plate with nothing to accompany it. Then to charge $6.50 for a small side of pasta was shameful. The staff could have been more pleasant, a smile would have helped. As we were leaving we noticed there were tables open downstairs. It did not make sense for them to deny us a table downstairs. Don't waste your time or money on this restaurant!

Not outstanding. I tried the primivera pasta with vegetables. I did not like the veggies: lots of zucchini and some carrots and onions only. The sauce was very watery and puddled in the bottom portion of the dish. Service seemed harried.

Chicken Marsala was not good and the portion was small. Not even close to Carrabba's. Waiter asked if I wanted pasta or vegetables. I said pasta and unbeknownst to me I was charged $6.50 for it.My wife got pasta primavera and the veggies were mushy and the amount was sparse. They brought 3 tiny pieces of bread! We asked for more bread and they billed me $3.50. Never in my life have I been charged for bread at an Italian restaurant. And the bread was inline with Publix bread. Ok but nothing special. All in all an expensive poor meal. $85.00 with tap water and nothing else!Won't be back!

Overall, food was good but experience was not as excellent as last time. Had identified it was a birthday and no acknowledgement from servers...also had abrupt change in servers. Fettuccine Allo scoglio was greasier than last time.

Service was excellent. Pasta Fagioli soup was also excellent. Fish (snapper) was good but not as flavorful as have had. Others at the table enjoyed their food—also good_not excellent. Air conditioning was set too high for me...room was very cold.

Delicious food; Very Good Service; We sat on the patio with heater turned on at our request... very comfortable. Our only criticism is that they're charging for a second very small bread basket of mediocre quality bread with our dinner of salad, entrees and sides of pasta, dessert and cappuccino. On the whole, however, we really enjoyed our dining experience and we will return.

Cute place. Food nothing special. Veal was extra fatty and the chicken was over sauced. Service was mediocre at best. Do not recommend.

Unfortunately this restaurant has declined over the years. This was by far the worst experience I've had. The portions are extremely small. The quality of the veal was terrible. They have a limited menu of four of the same veal and chicken dishes. Two fish dishes which are clearly from the frozen freezer case in the local grocery store. Perhaps they were a victim of the pandemic and never recovered. It's time to close this establishment and for new owners to take over. It's a great spot which should house an even greater establishment.

Took my wife here for her birthday, had it noted on the reservation. Arrived and was seated at a table in a small dining room and immediately told we were at the “wrong” table (one of four in the room) and asked to move. Moved to another table and no one sat at the table we were asked to move from (odd first interaction…). Service was seemingly pretty slow but also, it’s a restaurant in an old house, so I couldn’t gauge how full they might have been. Ordered the chicken Marsala and it was one piece of a flattened chicken breast. Hardly any seasoning, no pasta, no sides, $24. Insanely overpriced for the food I got. I left hungry, even after eating some of my wife’s pasta. No mention of her birthday, no well wishes when we were sat, no dessert, nothing. $89 (plus a tip) for bruschetta, one pasta dish, a half piece of chicken, and a bottle of water, no alcohol. Was very underwhelmed for the price and the strong reviews.

Don't ask for anything special, or extra bread. Very expensive for mediocre food. Too bad always wanted to try. Go somewhere else, this is not the place.Obviously owners that don't care about food, service and quality.

Place was charming, beautiful, food was great. Service left a lot to be desired! We were a party of 6, Never greeted, never a warm smile from staff, no name was ever given from server. Cold, uninterested staff making us feel very unwelcome throughout the entire dinner.Trying to flag down server throughout was impossible since they never looked our way, gave no acknowledgment whatsoever. We were still drinking cappuccino, when they started dimming & closing lights!! RUDE! At these prices they were basically throwing us out! We will never return.

Casantica Ristorante was simply just O.K. We would not recommend it to any friends and this is why: 1. The restaurant offers a small portion (6 for 4 people) of Italian bread slices and charges $3.50 if you want more. 2. My husband's Veal Parm was very tasty, but had to add a side pasta for and additional $6.50 to complete his meal. 3. Myself and one of our friends ordered Veal Marsala and Veal Piccata for $25.00 and that was the meal - if you wanted sides you had to pay extra for them. Both dishes had a small portion of tender veal and the rest was tough. 4. Only one friend at the table enjoyed her meal. 5. One happy diner out of four is unacceptable!!!
